That looks great DCGG! My feet, my left arm and the back of my neck are next on my list but my feet are worrying me the most! What a Face

^^Make sure you have someones hand to hold. For the most part it isn't bad. But when they hit veins and bones I was clenching my teeth and ripping my mom and friends hands off.

At this point it is scabbing up really bad. I can't wait until it's done so I can see the final results.

This is the memorial tattoo I got for my dad yesterday. He passed away Jan 17, 2003. I was in 7th grade and it was two months after my gandma on my moms side died. Two years after his mom died. So this means a lot to me. His initials are in the eye and blue was his favorite color.

Thanks. Only down fall is I got my stars touched up as well. So I don't want to chance it and ruin it with my socks again. It is cold outside. So that means I get to freeze wearing heels and capris. My calf is still sore, but I love the tattoo. It is perfect.

I love it DCGG! Firstly I love skull tattoos and I really like the style of yours. Secondly I like the idea of the initials in the eye socket. It's a memorial piece without being too obvious and after all only the wearer should know the true significance of a tattoo.

Well we have been talking about my next pieces. We still have to do the purple rose for my mom. We are also talking about getting the old english detroit D. He is going to be drawing up a few ideas for me because we aren't sure what design to add in to it. So I'm letting him think up a style. He was thinking about incorporating the detroit sky line into the D some how. I think that sounds awesome.

This is my latest. Done on June 1st so healed nicely now and I think just a little of the linework needs touching up. It's actually a hell of a lot bigger than I expected but I love it and also the fact that it was Mr D's birthday gift to me Smile

I really like it Mrs.D.
My MasterCard is almost maxed out. But I got approved for a visa. First thing I wanna get with it is a tattoo. Something decent sized, most definitely a geisha. I just have to find one. There are a few I like but I guess I'll get some ideas from the tattoo artist.

Mrs. D that looks awesome. I'm so happy for you. How big is it? My next two are going on my shoulder blades.

I would say about three inches but I'm crap at measuring things so it's probably a little bit longer.

What designs do you have in mind for your shoulder blades hun? I found that the least painful area to have inked. My new one actually hurt for two days afterwards! Still hasnt put me off getting my feet done in September!

I hope you are right. My foot obviously sucked really bad and my leg did too because I work out and it was muscle that he was tattooing. I'm getting the detoit old english D with different things that represent detroit in the D. That one is going to be about 5 inches. The other one is going to be a purple rose for my mom. I think I might want to get a back piece sooner or later but I'm not sure what I want to get.

My newest art...

For years I've wanted a tattoo on the back of my necks but heard nothing but horror stories as to how bad the pain is, etc.

So...for over a decade I've putt off getting one.

Well, last night, I was at the mall and they have a new place (really fabulous one too!) and I decided that if I could survive having those horrendous shots in my neck vertebrae after my accident, I can survive anything - and I was right!

It didn't hurt at all. Kind of mad at those who lied to me, but glad that I took the plunge after all.

I celebrated with one of the few things I can have at Starbucks...a 60 calorie iced coffee. I'm down to 115 now (and still losing, though not intentionally - now I just need to maintain) and I'm not about to blow it...but am overjoyed that I can once again have Starbucks! devildance

But anyway...here is me in the hot seat!

It looks great. I'm glad you like it. I know what you mean though. My first one was my foot. Everyone was telling me I was going to cry because everyone that has gotten it done has cried. It really wasn't that bad. Yes I gritted my teeth a lot when he went over my bones and veins. But it really wasn't that bad.

It really does look good, GS. And I like your outlook -- if you could survive the medical pain you've dealt with recently, you are certainly strong enough to have the body art you most wanted. Smile It's odd, the unexpected confidence that an injury can bring.
