Can anyone recommend a place that sells nice folding hand fans? I don't want the plasticy victorian costume kind or any asian ones, or feathered ones. I'm looking for something much more modern.

I'm always having to wait in the subway stations going to and from work, and there's no air conditioning in there and the get SO hot. I thought it would be nice to have a cute little hand fan to use, but I just can't find anything I like.

It would be really cool if someone made some with a steampunk flair, or maybe a cyber look - made with shiney steel or something, like those purses that Gloria Gerber makes. Alas, it appears no-one has thought of this...although with all the steampunk inspired corsets and parasols I've seen lately, maybe handfans are on their way.

Anyone seen anything they could recommend?

I haven't seen one of theses, but I would love to be able to find or make a silver filigree one! No lace or material, just very ornate silver sections.
