WIR and Endless, thank you for hearing me out and validating some of my thoughts on this. I think I exploded up there mainly b/c a lot of other little life issues were piling up and that comment just lit the fuse. I guess I was getting histrionic. I can admit that here; just not to my husband (b/c then he'll assume I'm histrionic whenever I disagree with him).

WIR, thank you. We've had some sessions with a trainer, but we do need to keep up with things: gradual desensitization, etc. We were taking him to Petsmart for a while just so he could look at other dogs for a short while at a time -- we should get back on that.

Endless, thanks for clearing that up for me. My mind wandered that way b/c he did seem to react more intensely to the pit bulls than to others, but you're right: if he was a bait dog he'd either have lots of parts mangled/missing or he would be dead.

Most times Milo is a sweetie and even a clown; I hope we can do whatever we need to do for him to have a calm and happy life. This is the little guy we've got, and giving him up is not an option, so we need to work with him.

I watched this girl hit a guy on a bike on campus. There are so many accidents and people getting hurt lately. Why the hell can't people pay attention? The girl hit the guy so hard he flipped off of his bike, hit the hood of her car, and landed in the street. Pay attention when you freaking drive.

^Since this semester has started I've seen:

- Three people on bikes get hit.
- 13 car accidents on main roads.
- 7 on campus
- Ambulance rushing around town
- Alcohol poinsoning on campus
- I'm not really sure what happened, but there was one car in a ditch, another with a shattered wind sheild, a bike in the ditch, three police, and ambulance.

I loathe drivers who pay no attention to cyclists. Mr D cycles but if cars get too close to him he just BOOTS them HARD!

I hate it when people in the 10 item or less line, have 20 items.
