Old or new (new being the 1991 version with Ben Cross) and have you seen that there is going to be a movie?

I have heard conflicting reports of Johnny Depp as Barnabus Collins or possibly Antonio Banderas.

I am not a fan of either one (ducks flying objects as she realizes that she is probably the only woman on the planet who is not a Johnny Depp fan) and it makes me physically ill to see anyone in the cookie cutter vanilla Hollywood of today playing Barnabus Collins.

My vote is they bring back either Adrian Paul (who was Jeremiah Collins in the 1991 version) or Michael T. Weiss (he played Joe in the "modern times" and Peter Bradford - in scenes from the past) to be Barnabus being as they both worked on the show and have an idea of the mindset and eloquence needed.

That's just me though.
