I'm not too much into the day for some reasons... I love it because it represents love & romance of course, but I believe it should be lived each and every moment. Not for just a day. I hate it because it makes people sad. I'd love the whole world if I could.


I don't want a certain ""someone"" to go out of their way to do anything for me for Valentine's Day either! He has already given me the greatest gift of love... which I'm so very thankful for.

I'm going to drink. A lot.

Speaking of food, er, typing of food, I'm hungry now.

I'm celebrating by wearing a ridiculous pink and black dress. So ridiculous in fact that when I walked out to the living room with it, the hubby said, "where the hell did you get that thing?!"

After the delivery of the dining room set (my Valentine's gift to my hubby), we're going out with a friend, maybe grab some dinner. Our friend Pete is always dateless on Valentine's day, and somehow he always ends up in our plans. We love Pete.

Yeah, we don't really do anything special on Valentine's other than exchange cards and gifts. He got me a new pair of tall Dr. Martens boots...which he has to return because he ordered a UK size 8 instead of a US ladies size 8.

The restaurants around here get a little crazy, so I usually end up cooking. I still like the holiday.

I don't celebrate Valentine's Day, but I can guarantee you i'll be stuffing my face full of delicious chocolates

Michael doesn't like celebrating Valentine's Day...well any holiday for that matter.
He hasn't bought me a card in about 2 years (for anything) Why should he have to. He tells me all the time how he feels...blah, blah.
But I'm getting dinner today at the Indian Buffet which is nice.
But I still wanted some flowers or something.

^^Wow, seems like most of us have same plans, haha.

It's a "Hallmark" holiday! Mr D and I tell each other we love each other several times EVERY day and not just on one.

That aside, I shall probably join in the general getting wasted idea. It is Saturday after all

I normally don't like V-Day, but my boyfriend thinks it's still cute to get me something. So, he got me.....a bunch of stuff actually. What made me squee the most, though, was a bat necklace. 'Tis soooooooo beautiful <3333


I knew he would get me something, so I just made him a card and sent it out today. I normally don't do that, but he was worth the effort. Plus, he's not going to get it till Monday

Other than that, his mum ordered that heart shaped pizza and we stayed and are watching Friday the 13th movies. Nothing special, just a normal day.
