Peel on eyeshadow

Rather pricey but looks like it would save loads of time and gives you perfect application of shadow.

I've seen them at Sephora, under a different brandname. I dunno, looks like you need a really steady hand to apply them properly. Honestly, I don't care much for them.

Seems like they would take the fun out of putting on makeup -- part of what I enjoy is the ability to make little adjustments to get the look just right. meh

^^Hee hee, I was thinking the same thing! Y'all should see me put on my eye makeup when I'm on the train to work. It's a miracle I haven't poked my eye out with an eye pencil or mascara wand. It's an art form! Wink

I just saw an advert for those last night. They remind me too much of temporary tattoos for my comfort. I'll stick with the powder stuff. Laughing

I think the pictures are also slanted for the ad. Who's to say you're going to get that perfect of an application every time? Or anytime? those models already had their makeup done, they're just holding the stuff to their lids.

EDIT: OMGs, look at the Zebra and Camo ones. PHOTOSHOPPED!!

Avon sells something like that. Knowing me, I'd probably screw it up haha

That's a pretty neat idea, but i'd rather stick with the old fashioned way. It's funner and cheaper. Laughing

Like those mascara ads with the models wearing false eyelashes. :?

It states on the Color On Instant Eyeshadow site in [The Story] section: "These are single-use, hygienic, hypoallergenic applicators that require no makeup skills, no brushes or secondary applicators"

Yet also says with each kit description: "Kit contains setting powder and a brush to apply it."

Not that that matters...but. And if one patch is supposed to do both eyelids... are both really going to match in darkness/lightness? I just don't think it's worth it, but if any of you try them out be sure to get back here and let us know. Maybe you'll be able to get them on discontinued clearence somewhere.

These posts are a hoot.

Anywho; Peel-on-eyeshadow doesn't sound like it would all that fun, unless it was for an occasional night. Perfection is overrated.

Exactly my thoughts! Who wants to look like everybody else anyway? I like the way my eyeliner is usually dead straight on one eye and sort of squiggly on the other Smile Nobody will ever comment as they think it's a "goth" thing and done on purpose Laughing
