I got this idea from a poll on Radio 5 the other week. No biggie but which song intro just makes you go weak at the knees

Classic!!

Dream Theater - The Ministry of Lost Souls
Something about this opening made me fall in love with this song.

Dream Theater - Forsaken
There's a couple of other Dream Theater solos that I like too....

Iron Butterfly - In A Gadda Da Vida
Great song altogether but the intro is just so... intense, peaks, then mellows out the rest of the way until the end where it peaks again.

Thunderstruck - AC-DC is an awesome intro as is Enter Sandman - Metalica and finally Sweet Child of Mine by Guns n Roses which I'm sure was written about my eldest little girl!!!

I really like the intro to Walk Away by the Sisters of Mercy. I am obsessed with that song.

Also, I enjoy a lot of AFI intros.

And lullaby by the cure

Shes in parties - bauhaus

Greensward Grey and En Hiver by Cinema Strange

Oh and of course Soft Cell's Tainted love.

I think a see a trend here, half of these songs have intros with synthesizers lol.

Always awesome when two great things come together.
Charmed was the first time I've heard that song and since then I think I've heard 3-4 different versions of it.

t.A.T.u.

Obviously Love Spit Love's version is the truest to The Smith's though I think I like LSL's version slightly more. t.A.T.u.'s is quite enjoyable and gives a certain flare to it, especially if you're burnt out on either/both the other artists.

Everclear did an okay cover...
Though I prefer Hundred Reasons's cover.
Quicksand... O_o
And Paradise Lost's version is pretty entertaining as well.
