When I worked at Hot Topic, sometimes a song would come up on the player that was sung in French. I suddenly remembered the tune today, and now I really want to find the song, but I don't know the band or the song title. It's sung by a female and it's kind of an easy-going song, more pop-sounding than rock. I initially thought it was Paramore, and it still could be I guess, but I don't know the band that well so I don't know all their songs.

Sorry the details are really obscure but I'm hoping you guys can help me out in my search! This is driving me nuts!

I'm not certain but don't some/most/all HotTopics use a CD that they're selling?
If so, may think what CDs were being sold at the time and go through their track list.

Sorry, beyond that I have no idea where to begin.. hope you find it though; few things more annoying than hearing bits and pieces of a good song stuck in your memory and unable to fill in the blanks. :/

Maybe Belinda Carlile, More than half of her albulm "Viola" was done in French. Listen to some of these samples and see if it was one of those. If not, I have no clue as to who it could be.

It's not Belinda Carlile, although I enjoyed listening to the samples. Her voice is too deep. The song I'm looking for is also perkier than the songs on that album.
