I hope his Memorial went well last Sunday. I loved the request for the ladies attending to wear corsets, eyeliner and black nail varnish

Wow, this is very sad.
It took me a minute to remember who it was, but then I remembered he was the guy from the 'its not me its them' topic. He seemed like a cool guy.
I was really hoping we'd see a reply or topic from him at some point in the future saying he was happy and he'd finally found someone.



This is the second death I've heard about today. The first was of someone who used to ride my bus. One of a trio of people I deeply disliked. Now that, that person is gone, I almost feel like it was partially my fault, as if my dislike somehow caused his death to happen sooner. As silly as that sounds...

It seems like every time you stop thinking about death, and how short life is, something comes along to remind you the clock's still ticking.

Today would have been his birthday.

Well Red, he has, as you proposed months ago, haunted us in benign ways. His lingering birthday reminder served to remind me to say this:

As goths, death is always on our minds, and yet we forget to say to one another "hey, thanks for being alive." So Red, Moon, Raven, Nsane, Mal, Max, Helen, Angel, Vampira, Diva... (honestly, I could go on like this for a hundred people, sorry if I left you out) thanks for telling the rest of us what you're up to, whether you're happy or rant/b!tch/moaning, at least you're here, and we know you're alive. Thanks Endless, for creating this realm from the ashes of the old GB, without which none of this would be possible, and thanks most of all to our fallen comrade gothasstaylor, who has reminded me today that I am blessed to know you all.
