| I am a vocational/career counselor and I work with people with disabilities (usually psychiatric illnesses, mild mental retardation, substance abuse, etc.). I like my job very much, even tough it could be boring and frustrating at times (not at the same time, though. LOL). I'm also in school part-time. Working on my masters degree in Career Development. I hope to graduate this coming May. It's been very frustrating for me because much of what's been covered in my classes I already learned at my job. But I really need that piece of paper for any other work I do in this field. In my spare time I like to make beaded jewelry and other accessories. I've sold my peices in the past, but am too busy right now to make a legitamate business out of it. Let me tell you, going to school really sucked the life out of me for the past three years. |

| Right now, I'm working at a laundry mat for a couple days a week...do need to get a full-time job. I'm also a freelance journalism -- pretty much write on any topic for any site/newspaper/magazine that needs an extra article or two.
Once I get enough money, I'm going to college for Mortuary Science...want to be a Funeral Director. |

| I'm sure you all heard me b!tch enough about this. I am a lunchroom supervisor and cashier at a high school. I do that for 6 hours a day then spend the rest of the day with my bf I also do casual work at an Art Gallery. Just cleaning when they need the extra hand. Once upon a time I wanted to get into writing because of my love of reading. Then I wanted to practice sketching more. But I haven't picked up a pencil to draw in a long time. Right now my life is kinda at a stand still I guess it'll be like that until I figure out what I want to do. Vampira, is your mum a funeral directer?? |

| ^^ No but she worked in the Funeral business before she was pregnant with me and that’s the reason why she had to leave because they couldn’t reduce her hours. She's passed the torch to me wanting to be a Funeral Director but now alot of Funeral homes are family orientated and need a clean driving license. So im going to pass my driving first and apply for crap loads and see what happens. It’s been a big passion for me ever since my mum told me about what she had to do, really interesting and something which suited me down to the ground. But now Counselling has cropped up so im not sure which to go for... _________________ |

That's pretty cool. An uncle of mine use to be an Embalmer. He said it was pretty fun, but nasty cuz of all purging the body does. I've worked at funeral homes before, just cleaning and preparing and stuff....very low pay, but worth it for the experience you get. Best of luck to ya. I only have 2 years of school, one main test, and one apprenticeship and luck on mah side.
'Tis my passion. |

| I am the Law Actually I work as a conveyancer in a firm of solicitors. Conveyancing is currently as dead as a coffin nail so I've been branching out into personal injury and divorce which are interesting to say the very least. I want to finish my qualifications which I have put on hold whilst the girls are young. To me no career is worth missing out on seeing your little people develop and blossom _________________ Well, the Devil he taught us how to rock and then he turned us loose |

| Oh and by the way to those of you who fancy a career in funeral directorship, it is very lucrative. I recently sold a funeral directors business that my friend Hefin works in and found out exactly what they earn _________________ Well, the Devil he taught us how to rock and then he turned us loose |

| I'm currently a student with no clue what I really want to do with my life. I'm currently double majoring in Fashion Design and Metalsmithing, and I eventually want to get a welding license and a certificate in vegan culinary arts. There are just too many things I want to do, and I have no clue what path I really want to take. Being a fashion designer, making metal sculptures, being a brewer, or having my own little cafe are all things that would make me happy... Or I could just become a nomad or a revolutionary, but I somehow have a feeling that neither of those ideas would be as wonderful and romantic in practice as they are in my mind, so I think I'll just stick to art and food. |

DD: I'm a vegetarian who's low-lacto and low-ovo, so I've been learning more about vegan cooking. If you haven't already, have a look at http://theppk.com/ I have a couple of Isa's cookbooks, and they're excellent! |
