Well keep at it for now, give it some time. Some piercings can take up to a year to fully heal.

I can't get my barbell to unscrew!

Im trying to take out the barbell on my industrial piercing.

The balls wont scew off either way

Have the hubby take a pair of pliers, or if you have them hemostats, and tighten on one end of the barbell's ball, and on the other end use either his free hand to unscrew the ball, or another pair of pliers to twist off the old ball.

I've seen those before, I tried to find someone who made them at the time when I got mine, but they weren't being produced, just experimented with.

Now, the only problem I see with those, is that the glasses are going to smell really bad after a while. The bridge piercing, when removed, has a really foul odor...The best way I can really relate it, for those who want to know, is a mixture of dead animal, and sex. Yes, there's such a combination.

That is just the most disgusting smell ...the dead animal part . LOL

Oh, and it's a liquid smell too But yeah, it is a pretty nasty smell. I have made someone lose their lunch by taking it out and letting them smell the barbell. It does get really nasty after a few days without taking it out and cleaning it.

I'm still thinking about getting something pierced. Not the lip anymore seeing that the bf will have his repierced after the military. We got stuck together enough, so i'll pass on the lip. Dunno what else would look good on me.

Cheek piercings and bridge piercings. Two things I wanted, but never got done.

Cheek piercings are risky, there's so much that could go wrong, you want to make sure your piercer uses a flashlight to find not only the saliva sacks, but the veins that run through the cheeks and avoid them, and make custom studs that are long enough for the swelling that will happen as soon as the needle pierces through. You don't want to end up constantly dripping from your piercings because someone forewent the check and went right through a saliva gland, it's not pretty.

The Bridge on the other hand, doesn't smell until you 1)remove the balls off the end of the piercing 2) take it out and mix it with other jewelery, at which point will contaminate all the other jewelery with the same smell.

Oh, I just had a look at the FAQ of that site and it said that the glasses are stuck on with strong magnets. That's not so bad.
