    That's such a sweet story.

Honestly at first I was like, "Why? Butterflies don't live that long." But after a quick bit of research I learned monarch buterflies live can about 8 to 9 months. Kewl!

Considering I practically had a panic attack in the Butterfly House at Longleat then it's probably not the best idea ever! Laughing

Can't believe I took my chances with the Marquis of Bath instead! scared

We do have a lovely Buddleia bush outside work and I love watching the butterflies flock to that and have even chased a cat away from them but if they get close I turn into wibbly jelly woman.

It's fasinating to think a butterfly's wing can even be mended! What a beautiful story that could be made in to for a little kid's book!

Aw that's just so touching! Most people don't give a second glance if even a first at a butterfly dying on the ground. Some cultures believe butterflies are a symbol of rebirth and a new start in life. Wouldn't it be something if one day a little baby of that very same rescued butterfly found it's way back to the shoulder of one of the people that helped it's Momma!

Can't you just see it sitting there ... waving it's wings!
