| The Vampire Diaries author, L.J Smith came out with a new series called 'Dark Visions' and i bought the first book in the series. Also a teen series I read and enjoyed back in the day called 'Wicked' came out with the conclusion of the series, Resurrection. I also bought The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. And....  |

lol, I have Nine Parts of Desire, Price of Honour and The Caged Virgin on my wishlist !
I haven't read Burned Alive yet, but I read something where they've proved that the story is fictional, even though it was promoted as a true memoir. That irks me if it's true... |

| My husband got us three NY history books:
Mannahatta: A Natural History of New York City Loaded with images of what the city may have looked like before it was "discovered" by the Europeans.
Dutch New York: The Roots of Hudson Valley Culture This one's about the influence the Dutch had on New York City and areas north.
New York 400: A Visual History of America's Greatest City with Images from The Museum of the City of New York Full of maps, artwork ,and photos depicting 400 years of the history of the city. It's a gorgeous book! |

| Carlton Mellick III was at RadCon! And my roommate was talking to him and he said he had just written a short story, and the costume my roommate was in and his personality fit one of the characters in the story perfectly. So that is pretty cool. Anyway, he had a table set up in the vendor room and I bought 3 of his books.
