And I've lucked out with an English bf with most of his family still there.

I want to see in person...

* The Astronomical Clock in Prague... and draw it. And see the inner workings of it.
* Giverny, and Monet's gardens and studios.
* The Degas exhibition held in Canberra next month - and get up really damned close to them and study them.
* A Massive Black gathering.

Loy Krathong is held on the full moon of the 12th month in the traditional Thai lunar calendar (which usually falls in November here in the west). This month in the Northern Thai kingdom, ritual symbolism and Lanna Thai Buddhist tradition intertwine as communities gather together to celebrate a vast healing ritual.

In a ceremony possibly derived from the Hindu celebration of Diwali in India, hundreds of thousands of candle-lit krathong (banana leaf rafts) and elaborate, glittering floats are set adrift in rivers, streams, lakes, and canals.

WOW that is beautiful.Now I would love to see that too.

Since I love watch "A Christmas Story" I would love to visit the real house which is now a museum.
