| I like turkey ham! Not that keen on turkey unless it's been cooked for about a hundred years and totally covered with butter. I'm getting a goose or a duck for Yule _________________ Well, the Devil he taught us how to rock and then he turned us loose |

| I think this year we are having turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, dill pickle soup, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and gravey, bread, apple pie and cheese cake. To top it all off, I'm doing all of the cooking. |

| Here is a good new recipe: | Quote: | We are going to try this. I thought this sounded good!
Here is a turkey recipe that also includes the use of popcorn as a stuffing -- imagine that. When I found this recipe, I thought it was perfect for people like me, who just are not sure how to tell when poultry is thoroughly cooked, but not dried out. Give this a try.
8 - 15 lb. turkey 1 cup melted butter 1 cup stuffing (Pepperidge Farm is Good.) 1 cup uncooked popcorn (ORVILLE REDENBACHER'S LOW FAT) Salt/pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush turkey well with melted butter salt, and pepper. Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn. Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the oven.
Listen for the popping sounds. When the turkey's a$$ blows the oven door open and the bird flies across the room, it's done.
And, you thought I didn't cook... |

| ^^ that is something I am going to have to try...I wonder if I can put enough popcorn in the turkey to have it blast out of the over and land on the table. <less work for me ) |

| I'll one up the popcorn stuffing with dun dun dun *cue the drumroll*
White Castle Stuffing
10 White Castle hamburgers, no pickles 1 1/2 cups celery, diced 1 1/4 tsp. ground thyme 1 1/2 tsp. ground sage 3/4 tsp. coarsely ground black pepper 1/4 cup chicken broth
In a large mixing bowl, tear the burgers into pieces and add diced celery and seasonings. Toss and add chicken broth. Toss well. Stuff cavity of turkey just before roasting. Makes about 9 cups (enough for a 10- to 12-pound turkey). Note: Allow 1 hamburger for each pound of turkey, which will be the equivalent of 3/4 cup of stuffing per pound.

| Today my aunt made the turkey a little salty and since I woke up late the rest of the dinner wasn't done on time, but for the most part I think it went well. We have decent sozed left overs. Not too much and not too little. We have some left over dill pickle soup and a ton of pies. I love it. |

| My mom made about 7 pies and cookies. I'm not a huge pie fan, so I settled for cookies. Everyone else has pie. They can eat that while I have cookies |
