| Hot Tub Time Machine. It was hilarious and stupid, but not as stupid as I had expected. Plot holes abound, though- suspend disbelief at door. |

| Daybreakers. I loved it; it had a ton of hilarious one-liners and I really liked the overall look of the film. Plus, Ethan Hawke made a very attractive vampire. |

| Iron Man 2 was great, and if you see it, remember to stay through the credits for the sneaky peak at the next part of the Avengers Saga. I marked out like a 13 year old girl at Jonas Brothers show. Mickey Rourke owned the experience. |

| ^Agreed. Iron Man 2 pwns. I love how perfectly Tony Stark walks the line as a loveable douchebag. He's a jerk, but a likeable one. That's a hard thing to manage. Black Widow made me want to take martial arts. Like, right then. But yes, Micky Rourke's Whiplash was AWESOME. A super worthy movie. |

| I finally got around to seeing Avatar the other day. It was fantastic! I also saw Alice in Wonderland. Holy crap it was good. Crispin Glover was unrecognizable in his role. Johnny Depp was fabulous as always.
I saw both movies on tiny screens, though. When I get back home I'm putting both on my Netflix queue so I can see them in hi def as God intended. LOL. |

| When You're Strange It's about Jim Morrison and The Doors. It was fantastic. It was packed with footage from performances and was narrated by Johnny Depp. Watching Morrison acting like an idiot on stage was hysterical. Sad ending, though. |

A great Indie suspense/thriller flick. I'm reviewing it for October's issue of Twisted Dreams. |

| I watched the proposal last night for the first time. I know it's been out of the theatres for forever but since I haven't really had the money to see them I'm just waiting for them to be free on my cable. I thought it was a really cool movie. |

| Hubby wants to see The Last Airbender, tonight. I don't share his enthusiasm, but will go if he wants to. I just find M. Night Shamayalan's (or however his name is spelled) works to be terribly predictable, with the exception of The Village. That one was a pleasant surprise. |

| I saw Adventureland last night, and only because my friend brought it with him when he came over. Now, I want to start out by saying I have a high tolerance for crap, and I am very easily entertained. However, this is the worst movie I have seen in a very very long time. The main characters were annoying and unlikable, the acting, especially by Kristen Stewart is terrible, and overall, the movie was just boring. There were a few funny parts, notably the ones with Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig of Saturday Night Live, but overall, watching this movie was torture. |

| The hubby and I saw Predators on Saturday.
I'm not a fan of Adrien Brody, but he was good in it and we enjoyed it.
It's worth a watch. |

| Last night matt and I watched
vampires apprentice
and
The girl with the dragon tattoo
The first one was ok but it seems just drawn on and they are going to make a sequal that they could of just put in the first movie to make it not take so long. The other one is in a different language. The whole movie is based on women getting beaten, raped, killed, and a reporter trying to save his hide before he goes to jail. |

It's worth a looksee SPF just as long as you go in knowing that it's nothing like the original.
Give it a try. |

| The Damned United. It's a football film which I expected to hate and suspected that Mr D had only got because he thought the title would drag me in but I actually really enjoyed it. Will, however, be glad to get to next weekend when it's my turn to pick the film _________________ Well, the Devil he taught us how to rock and then he turned us loose |

| Gabriel.
Not half bad. I wrote a review for it which is already on the IMDb and will appear in the October issue of TD.
It's not a ground-breaking movie by any means, but worth the watch. |
