| Late 80's early 90's were the best when it comes to family films! The last movie I saw was The Spirit. It was...not that good... I didn't expect it to be though, I just went cuz nothing else good was playing at that theatre. The plot was really underdeveloped, much like Yes Man, only a lot more boring. I liked their transition of comic book to film though, they did a really good job. |

| Just saw Valkyrie...it was pretty good but I found it hard keeping my attention focused for the full 2 hours. The story, though, was epic. My friend cried the whole trip home, which was unnecessary because it really wasn't *that* sad. Aaand I'm going to see Twilight now. |

| Saw "Valkyrie" today... in theaters... First movie I've seen in theaters in months... And... Totally worth the $7 ticket price. Overall had a great story. Not recommended for those expecting a "typical" war/action movie. But if you want a good movie with a good story, I'd highly recommend it. While I didn't cry, the ending did get me teary-eyed. Very nicely done. |

| Just saw "Feast" on my Cinemax on Demand. Some great special gore FX. I'm pretty desensitized to gore, but I was impressed with the technique. Love the gore FX from an "insider's perspective". I think that kind of ruins movies for me at times, cause I know the subject inside and out. Was impressed with the gore, humor and whacky characters like Grandma in "Feast". If you're not into excessive gore though, this is not for you. |

| A Mi Me Gusta. Nice little Venezuelan romantic comedy. He's a sour British chef, she's a spicy Venezuelan woman trying to enter to the international world of cuisine. He comes here, hilarity ensues. |

When I saw it, the lady to the left of me teared up a bit, and the guy I went to see it with started sobbing, then cried for like 15 minutes afterwards. |

| I watched The Strangers, which was horrible and should have been renamed What Not To Do in This Situation. The couple could have gotten away or killed their antagonists four or five times, or could have checked their friends pockets for his phone, etc etc. They were just stupid characters who deserved to die, and I stopped caring about them being in danger.
Then I watched the remake of 3:10 to Yuma which was fantastic, just a great film. Christian Bale in another winner, and Russel Crowe playing an amazing Ben Wade. Great film, a great Western Film as well, which is dying breed since the 90's only produced two good Westerners: Unforgiven and Tombstone. |

| I finally saw Requiem for a Dream. It was very good, although I was let down only because I'd heard reviews stating it's "The BEST movie EVER" and giving it way too much credit. It was good, though. It's made my top 5 at least. |
