Absolutely brilliant and loads of fun. You just have to adore Bollywood!

You would seriously have to be dead not to start tapping your feet and wanting to dance.

I'm a little bit of a Bhangra fan anyway and the clothes were just yummy!

Day Watch, the sequel of the popular Russian dark urban fantasy film Night Watch... it was ok, but the first one was far better

Is there books by that name?? That sounds familiar.

I watched 'Haven' last night.
The best part was all the scenes Orlando Bloom were in grin

Yeah, there are a Russian urban fantasy series. A cold war between warlocks and witches of the light and vampires and werewolves of the dark...

I haven't read the books, but they are a big hit on Eastern Europe. The first movie (Night Watch) was quite entertaining and good but the second one left me wanting more... like Underworld: Evolution where you can feel is weakness of being the middle installment of a trilogy (to be honest, I can't see how they can make a third film with that end...) but I heard they are going to make it (or are making it)

Bottom line is, buy the books and please tell me if they are good tongue

I saw I heart Huckabees last night... I liked it, but I need to see it again to fully understand it

Yeah, the best thing about that movie is that it's so good you'll eventually end up watching it again... and again... and again. Very Happy
I would recommend checking out Jason Schwartzman's other movie "Rushmore". Smile

I watched two movies these past two days... hmm... actually three the past three.
Very Happy

Three nights ago I watched "Zombie Strippers" at my friend Krystal and Derek's apartment. I have to say that was the corniest B-horror movie ever but effing hilarious and quite enjoyable indeed.

The next day I ended up watching "Super High Me" which was this stand up commedian/stoner going cold turkey off pot for 30 days then smoking morning, noon, night for 30 days. He expected by the end of the 30 days/movie he'd hate pot but... he didn't... and there was practically like zero negative effects of smoking that much that long either.
It was a GREAT documentary... good balance of interesting facts, comedy, and all the usual documentary stuff. I think even non-stoners could enjoy this movie from the comedy aspect.

An hour before I went to work today I just finished watching Nicolas Cage's demi-recent movie "Next" starring him and co-starring Jessica Alba. Basically Cage's character can see 2 minutes into the future and pretty much every scenario that can happen within those two minutes and change it if necessary.
I was surprised at how good this movie was... decent amount of action without causing the story to suffer. The ending kinda sucked... but only cos it just sort of "cut away" opposed to fully wrapping things up. Not horrible, not left on a cliffhanger... just not a fan of using my own imagination when the entire movie was awesome up to that point.

Beast of the Yucca Plains. A B movie classic on Mystery Science Theater so bad that it was filmed with silent cameras and the director narrated the whole thing later and how did the solved the synch with the few lines of actual dialogue? just not showing nowhere near the actors' mouths... and Tor Johnson is in it as the titular beast
