| ^Yknow... that actually makes sense. They typically inoculate you with dead/dying germs to boost your resistance and immune against certain diseases at birth as well as going to areas in which one wouldn't normally be exposed to various diseases. The nose, snot & hairs, tends to collect germs in such quantities I dare not imagine... there's bound to be quite a few diseases floating about that we're exposed to but aren't effected because our of body's defenses (such as hairs & snot). By the time one picks one's nose, they'd be dead/dying... While this thought sickens me... it isn't illogical. Least this is one way to prevent having to deal with needles, eh? Islam is starting to top that.
The use of the middle finger was the French showing off to the English (or maybe it was the other way around) was to show that the archers still had their middle finger, which was used to pull the string on the long bow. | Me neither, but apparently we have unique fingerprints, ear prints (dunno if this one is a fact), and tongue prints. Pretty nifty... but I'd hate to be in a country that forces you to get your tongue print inked for records.  |
