I came across this link and thought it might be interesting to share it as Halloween is around the corner note the nature of the experiments are pretty gross so animal lovers beware.

Thankyou Alensuka for putting up the warning with your post. So those of you do take this into consideration before you go to the link.
Viewers you have been warned.

I love animals. And I think it horrific the things that are done to them in the name of not only science, but just plain product testing. I believe though it is important to know what goes on in this world and sometimes people really don't get the full picture until they've seen it for themselves.

Did anyone hear about the dogs that were brought back to life after at least 4 hours of clinical death?

I'm with you on this one. I just find the whole reanimation subject to be way interesting. Amazing how one can do these things and some of these experiments have also helped with other things. Really, really cool.

clap

I love animals and I tend to get mushy about them but I think it is important to know that facts about what we so-called evolved "animals" to do them

As usual, my dear Dr. Knoche is discarded.

I mean, German XIX doctor who moved to South America so he could practice his experiments in solitude and ended up mummifying his entire family with a secret poison who kept bodies from rotting!

Here you can see pictures of him, the ruins of his manor in middle of the woods and mountains and some of the pictures of the mummies

Gottfried Knoche (1813-1901) arrived at the age of 30 with his wife and two children from Halbertstadt, where he opened a hospital in La Guaria, known to embalming corpses without needing take the guts out with a secret potion that he injected to the corpses, today this formula still remains a mystery.

He embalmed his wife, his children, his nurses and his warden and taught a small girl to embalming him; the girl later went insane and burn herself. Perhaps to not having her body embalmed???

The only thing standing on the grounds of the old Buena Vista manor is the Knoche Crypt where the mummies remain...

Fun fact: Knoche means Bone in German; so this guy had it to make a good Hammer Horror film!
