I over the past few years, I have had my ins and outs of relationships, as I think we ALL have. What do you think makes a good one or makes one last?

The ability to change and adapt
...continue loving one annother
...listen
...learn with one annother
...be open
...explore yourself and each other, feelings etc
...trust one annother
...be trust worthy
...look out for one annother
stuff

Trust for me is a biggie.
I completely trust my beloved and he trusts me.
And he is bluntly honest about things even if it hurts my feelings. That's one of the reasons I trust him.
And communication. If we have a problem with the other we let it out.
I know that when my friend is upset with her husband she doesn't tell him and the argument goes on and on and on.
With me I tell him, we deal, then make up
No guessing games. It leads to too much confusion and headaches.

1. Trust
2. have an open ear to what the other is telling you (no matter how much you disagree with it you should still listen)
3. laughter
4. compassion
5. love (you cannot have a relationship without love )
6. respect for the other person you should never talk bad behind their back.

Respect, trust, and communication seem like the most important things. And you can't very well have a healthy relationship with someone you don't love. Everything else mentioned seem like good things to have as well, but I think those are the most important.

Trust, great 'chemistry' both mentally and physically, and be able to stand one another's likes and dislikes. Yuuuuup.

Setting down the rules, honesty, respect, communication and being able to tolerate each other on good and bad days.
