Every Time a Bell Tolls, A Demon Gets It’s Horns
A prologue to:
“Satrina”

I could not believe it when Lucifer told me that he had proposed to Talina. Tonight is the wedding and it still has not set in that Lucifer is going to be a husband. Not that I do not think He could do it. I can say that I have never seen Him so nervous. I think He is trying to memorize His vows.
I remember when He and Talina first met. Lucifer had actually decided to check out the new arrivals that evening, a job He usually left up to me. Lucifer was walking down the line, deciding appropriate punishments for the sinners, when he came across her. He tells me how He knew instantly that she did not belong in Hell (probably from the list of sins He gets for each damned soul). “Walk with me,” He had said to her, leaving the list with me to finish with the dealing. She of course looked scared out of her mind. The man of scary bedtime stories asking you to walk with him after paying minimal attention to the other sinners. When He came back from his walk, he told me all about her situation. “She is not supposed to be here,” He had started off, “She choose to be here, to be with her son.”
Her son, Keloo, is a twelve year old boy who was damned to Hell for murdering his own father. He now is my adopted nephew and apprentice.
Anyway, we have three hours until the wedding. The wedding planner is running around making sure everything is taken care of. Enough chairs had, flowers in the right place, everyone knowing what to do during the ceremony. She better do a good job. If she does, she may get a job around here, which means a torture free Hell for her. If not, well… let’s not get into that. I’m sure she will do fine though. She was even able to find Lucifer a priest. Of course the ceremony will not really count, as the priest is fallen, but it is the thought that counts and he wants to make Talina happy. Time to put Him in his tux.

Oh my Goddess! I have been married before, in life. I was never expecting to marry again in the afterlife. I did not think I would be this nervous either. God even allowed some of my family to come! I never thought I would see my mother again, but here she is! Fussing over my wedding with the planner. I love my dress. The demons made it for me. It is amazing what I have learned from being Louie’s fiancé. The things these demons do in their spare time. Like the ones that made my dress, who obviously have had plenty experience. They even gave me a sketch of the dress that I think I am going put in my journal. It is so lovely, in white, red and black. Oh, time to squeeze into my dress.
