So, that would not make me a goth? |
Not really, your wearing because its comfy i assume, instead of because its what you think of a being oh so goth. I wear them to,i have a couple pair and i love them. But i draw the line at wearing them because its what the mainsteam percieves as goth. It's like dressing in baggy a$$ jeans half way down your butt,a hips hop artist shirt, doo rag, jordans, adding a fake ghetto talk and declaring yourself "gangsta". It's not really actually gangster is it?
I feel the same about wearing tripp pants like that. I guess the main reason would be how rude it is. you wouldn't get you body numbered and show it to a holocaust surviver, so you shouldn't wear something because its what people say is goth. Its just plain disrespectful.
please excuse the mini rant, i'm passionate about clothing and how we treat others. |

| To be honest, I don't own a pair of Tripp pants, but if I could get my hands on a descent pair not from Hot Topic, I would get them. I love the style but I don't think it makes the wearer gothier for wearing them. _________________ I'm a werewolf, not a vampire! |

| I get most of mine from ebay. They're very comfy and if you don't like carrying purses, it works to your advantage. I figure you can tell if someone's goth or just posing. Everytime i'm out, I can spot them in a heartbeat. They just act differently. |
