| Heh, I stumbled across FreeRice as an application on Facebook. It really is a great way to test one's own knowledge, broaden one's own literary skills, and donate to those in less fortunate countries (then again, restricting the amount of food obese individuals in America and donating all the excess to poverty nations would probably be more of a win-win solution...) | Quote: | Thank You — your click has been counted!
You have given the value of 1.1 cups of food to the hungry. |
Was not aware of that one click donation site though... one click and I just donated 1.1 cup of food... that's just... truly amazing. To think our country has so much money from capitalism and the internet that something as simple as a single click of a button allows some individual one meal or portion of a meal (the bare minimum nutrients to get through a day).

I wonder just how much rice that is in terms of people eating it... But that was fun. My brain hurts and at least one or two people wont be hungry for a day.

| I just reached 3'800 grains, considering how much I actually thought I knew combined with how much I guessed and how much I had to take the long way around by linking one word to another to another until it hit something on the list... I'm actually a little suprised I reached level 35 _________________ |

| That was fun and at the same time it was for a good cause. ( 1220 bowels of rice is not bad for 5 mins ) |

| I have to confess, I haven't done this since my last post. I either completely forget about it or when I do think of it... don't have the time, energy, and/or desire. But... I have nothing else to do so... | Quote: | You have now donated 140 grains of rice. |
140 grains are better than no grains?

Heh, I'm still playing... don't worry, I'm not that callous.
