| From Whence We Came.
The cold burns my face
Yet he still kisses me
We twist and writhe
Passion willing us to free ourselves
Hands pin and breath erodes our very flesh
The wind has been caged
She will break free
Wrath would be fitting but forgiveness is her liquid motion
Cooling, caressing caring
Mother, Sister, Lover Friend
Unified we stand
This pentacle of truth within our very souls
One chord links us together
It is thin but strong and impenetrable
Forged by nature and our toils of centuries past
Women, the drums beat for us
Our very sole a mystery
Pain has joint us
Suffering has created our fire
And with it we will illuminate this world |
