What is it that really 'Irks' you??

Hee...Moon, did you take this from the Chat last night? I'm still wondering whether I should post my little release rant or not...

My biggest one is when people smack and pop their gum.

I can't stand it when people use 's for plural words. 'S is for possessive not plural. The only exception is "its" and "it's."

Its- It couldn't tell us its name.

It's- It's raining really hard out right now.


I have other grammar pet peeves but that's at the top of my list.

Poor grammar, prejudice, bigotry, racism, rudeness, lack of personal hygiene, disrespect for others, people who treat you badly when you've tried to be a friend to them, badly dyed hair, awful tattoos...... the list goes on and on

And Moon I get the same problem but find that ramming a trolley into their ankles often works wonders particularly if you look really really innocent when they turn around.

I can just imagine that scene.

The episode at Chester Zoo was the best when somebody brushed Charlotte out of the way. She was only 3 at the time, bless her! The woman in question was wearing flip flops and I was wearing New Rocks. Goodbye ankle skin, hello pain!

I can actually look sweet if I have to!

That reminds me of a time that my bf was with his dad and a group of people were blocking the door.
The were from Pakistan so they kept talking and talking.
After about a half a dozen 'Excuse Me'
His dad just opened the door and one of the men when flying
ahhaha

Couple of weeks ago I was sheltering from the rain under the railway bridge by Camden Market. As it was raining very hard, there were quite a few of us under there. But people kept walking past with umbrellas just at my eye level, I was in constant danger of one of them poking me in the eye.

So... people with huge umbrellas who seemingly unwittingly use them as anti-personnel weapons.

I cannot stand people who chew with their mouths open.

People who talk loudly on their cell phones...or just loudly in public.

People who walk slow.

People texting/talking during a movie.

People who get distracted easily.

I'll add more.

When cars don't pull all the way up the white line at an intersection so the light takes forever to change
When people put sound systems in their P.O.S. cars so that it sounds like it's going to rattle apart (you just know the driver thinks they're studly though )
When people talk with their mouth full or chew with their mouth open.
No toilet paper.
When people stare.

The show "Friends"
loud people - like i care about your drama
people who think the world revolves around them
making a big decision is a pain in the butt

Ok, this may seem rude of me...
But I hate it when the elderly just cut in front of me when getting on the bus.
They don't give me a chance to offer to let them go first.
It's like they think they have the right.
Come on now. I'm not rude...

It's those elderly that think we owe them something...

I hate it when people use slang and talk street. I'm all about grammar and it really bugs me.
