| Adrian Mole - The Prostate Years. Wonderful book, I have the entire series and I've been reading them since I was about 18
My last book was Crime and Punishment - Dostoyevsky. It's heavy reading but always worth it. I decided I needed something a bit lighter this time around _________________ Well, the Devil he taught us how to rock and then he turned us loose |

| I'm reading The Tale of the Vampire Bride by Rhiannon Frater. Oh. My. God. This book is utterly amazing. I'm going to commit a sacriledge here and say....this book is as good and Bram Stoker's Dracula. I was a bit put off by the cover, but I'm so glad I went ahead and bought it. This is gothic horror at its very best. |

| Very cool.
I've never heard of this author.
If I ever get time to pleasure-read (versus edit read my own works and read subs to my magazine) I may have to check out the book. |

So in a way, I'm giving them a good once over yet again before they get sent to the publisher. |

| The Great Divorce - C.S. Lewis. It's a theological book but I liked the section about how some people may use their misery to manipulate others. There are those for whom we should feel sympathy/empathy and be moved to help them. Then there are a few who try to use there misery to control others. My favorite quote from the book is "Should Hell be allowed to veto Heaven?" |
