| Just finished The Sadian Woman by Angela Carter. Absolutely fascinating to read a book on De Sade by a feminist and rather than it be full of vitriol and bile, she actually comes down on The Marquis' side and say his books are of high moral value. It's totally shaken my view of "the world out there" or at least, part of it.
Can't wait to read some of her fiction. In the meantime is probably back to Anton LaVey for some re-reading. Or perhaps I'll keep it light for the weekend and get my Lenore collection out again. |

| ^Yep... it was assigned reading for this summer (I blew it off until last minute because it is a shorter book than my others -- I can read it in a few hours). |

| ^Oh good! You can give me a synopsis and I won't have to read it... then I can move on to more fun things, like Blood Canticle... I've been trying to read that for FOREVER! |

| Haha, I used cliffnotes. It was too boring for me. All I remember is something dealing with yams. |

| Yeah, when school sends you a novel is just... awful...
The worst one for me was a sci-fi Magic Realism New Age metaphysical Soap Opera called La Ley Del Amor |

| I have so many books on my shelf I have to read.
It's actually nice waking up earlier than I usually did for work (I have to wake up my brother) Because I now have time to read a few pages of my book each morning. |
