| I really want some boots in a similar style to New Rocks but perferably not a similar price tag. How come you can get boots in any other style than that similar to new rocks by other brands and cheeper !
Help?

| I'm afraid I am not familiar with any other brand. Demonia? _________________ I'm a werewolf, not a vampire! |

| Yeah... I'm sorry... but there is a reason New Rocks come with that price tag. All the hardware, detailing, and quality that goes into them is worth paying for... you honestly do get what you pay for in those regards. Mad Fish is a bit cheaper, but it might just be worth it to cough up the couple hundred. I'm by no means in the position to do so myself (high schooler's budget and all)... but one day, I WILL!! |

| I still think New Rocks are worth investing. Even though I still would like to get a pair of Mad Fish boots. Mind you, Demonias have got to start adjusting on the fittin around the calves. I have heard many female friends who bought a pair of Demonias, couldn't get the zipper to close over the calves and they weren't even that larger either. New Rocks tend to have better fitting and COMFORT. Akasha's right about coughing up the $$. I own 2 pairs of New Rocks and I plan to buy another pair next month. OH, wait a minite here.....(imagines Akasha in a pair of New Rocks) WHOA!! Now I can't wait to see a pic of Akasha in New Rock boots. |

| Perhaps I could be wrong about Demonias fitting of calves. I just went with what I have seen and heard from friends here. We all have different size and shapes of calves. Hope I didn't offend you there, Ginger. |

| I have a pair of demonias and half the reason I don't want new rocks is cause they are so common.
Thanks for the ideas people! |

| Upon looking, Sella looks awesome. Very cyber inspired, and just as affordable as Demonia. (Big thank you to Chelsea-- a wealth of knowledge as always!)

| I agree with what everyone else is saying, and thats its worth it to shell out the extra money. I've had lots of pairs of demonia made new-rock styled boots, and they always ALWAYS fall apart in a few months. I remember vanity kills(I believe) from the old GB board saying she bought a pair of new rocks and they lasted her YEARS of constant wear
I lucked out with my current pair of boots. they're six inch platforms I picked up from a thrift store for 13 bucks, and they've lasted me a year and are still in one piece! the only damage is on the front, but its just scuffs from me falls over drunk all the time. through that I found out they're steel toed! |
