PostSubject: The New Year!   Tue Dec 31, 2013 12:04 am

Just to start a thread about the new year since it's not New Year's Eve.

How has 2013 treated you guys? Have you had a good year or bad? Share some of your experiences with us and what you are looking forward to most in the up coming new year.,

* My 2013 was great, my son was born in January which was a great start to the year.

* Then a couple of months later we took him on his first family holiday which we all enjoyed.

* My husband got his new car to make space for our new edition arriving next year.

* I successfully completed my first Ramadan while not knowing that I was pregnant.

That's all really, just the little things make the biggest difference it doesn't always have to be something major.

Hopefully 2014 will bring us more happiness and prosperity. Happy New Year to all our DR family x

2013 is a crap year and I'll be happy when its over.
Depressions been kicking my a$$, the lack of sh*t for me to do makes for the most annoying boredom. Then to cap it all off, my Xmas plans are f**ked because what I order never happens making me have to go through a dispute/refund process on paypal which, good thing I did get the $109. back which means I get to xmas in January and I also get news my mothers got thyroid in november cancer and goes for surgery next month (January), followed by a round of radiation in February so 2014 not starting out great either...

So here's to hoping that even with a rocky start 2014 is over all a better year

The beginning of 2013 was alright. I was in France. I bitched about it the whole time, but it was still Europe... though sadly not Germany. I worked the whole summer to be able to buy a larger tablet, a macbook pro, and a car. It started going down hill once I got back to school though. I found out just how much I needed to pay my school for the year (out of pocket. financial aid didn't cover everything) and that my car needed a lot of work to it. Because of needing to work all the time, I was behind on two of my classes for most of the semester and was still needing to do this and that to my car. Living in the dorms has been a pain in the a$$ too.

But for the most part, it's okay. I just hope this next semester will be better. I also hope to quit the one job once I get my tax return... I and I really hope that my manager gets better soon and is able to walk on her own and not in a wheelchair.

Here's hoping things look up for everyone.
My year has been pretty much the same as past years.
Except work at the high school has gone down hill a bit.
But I'm hoping, sometime in the early part of the new year, I will be living with the bf. We are going on 10 years so I think it's about time.
