I've been up since 7:30am and I went to bed past 1:30am.
I was supposed to wake up my brother at 5:30am to go to work but I slept in and he missed his ride.
But the guy called back and picked him up. So all is well

Knowing that GB was really closing down just made me want to cry.

I was on my way to the animal shelter when about half way there I had to turn around to go back home because the weather was bad, but that is not what I am "bitching" about; by having to be at home I would have to suffer not being able to get online because my internet is crap. So for anyone who is thinking about getting satilite internet DO NOT GET HUGHESNET.

I learned one of my close friends goes commando and not in the good way...

If any of my friends go commando around me, it better be one of my female friends.

I'm all stuffy from crying and my eyes are all puffy so I have to keep editing my own posts.
It's like I'm my very own moderator.

It kinda feels like the day of my cat's putting to death: being morose all day until I got to the vet because that was when I started weeping.

It has been a hard couple of days,I don't ever want to do this again(the crying and the forum moving).

It does feel slightly betraying that that GB is closing but with the economy and all, it is no wonder why they wish to close it.

I guess G.B.'s forums are not open for buisness anymore folks.
Even the shout is gone now.

I JUST got the chance to read through the threads on GB pertaining to the closing.... and I feel like such an emotional baby, but I'm literally sitting here in tears. Not so much over the site...but the people. My god, GBers are an amazing bunch of people.

I felt like crying too.

Ha,I am crying.
It was never the magazine or the look of the forums or anything but the special group of people that it attracted to it that made it special.
So it's gone but a few of us still have each other and that's good enough for me.

I hope this new forum will keep going and hopefully we'll get new members that never knew GB too..

I hope so too. I might have found a new member, if he's not too lazy to join.
