I love needles. I love getting pierced, and I watch when I get my blood drawn, even if they're rough. Maybe something's wrong with me. crazy

^^ Glad i'm not the only one who's terrified of needles

I don't know what it is... some times I can psych myself out to where it's not as bad as they sometimes are (some times it's a mind psyching us out into it being painful)...
But... I dunno... the risk of getting air in your bloodsteam, the "slight" pain (of varying degrees), the size of the needle, how hard it's puncturing your skin... oh god, the thought of them "missing" and having to do it again. Shocked

But I will admit... having donated plasma, some times it's ultimately up to the nurse (or other trained professional) that determines how pleasant or horrific a needle can be.
I've had a few who punctured my vein while I was reading and I didn't even flintch... while I've had others in which it hurt for days.
So yeah... unless I'm starving poor or extremely sick... I stay completely away from needles.
    Flu Shot my a$$. lol

Haha, that's what I say to flu shots. I'll take my chances of getting the flu.
And it does depend on the professional putting the needle into you. My doc has a strategy of distracting me so she can sneak it in. I don't realize she did it until my arm starts to hurt. I hate having blood work done the most. I need my own red juices.

Mmm... I wouldn't mind some of those juices...
    bite

Sorry... apparently I'm 1/2 German 1/2 Dutch and 1/8th Vampyre. (yes, I am aware this totals to be more than 100% lol) naughty

But yeah... I find it interesting that each year they say you must get a flu shot because this year is the worst it has ever been and then there's some new strand.
BS - it's a ploy. As to what effect... I don't know considering many places give flu shots for free. So, I can only assume this is a means to control the population for some purpose... or there's tracking devices within the flu shots themselves. meh

The only reason people "might" be getting "more sick" than the previous year is (more than likely) they screwed up their immune system by not gaining enough Vitamin C (and other Vitamins & Mineral) or something else otherwise.

Haha, down my vampire tongue You don't want my blood. It's bad.

I know i've never gotten a flu shot and i've never had the flu. So why would I get a shot when I never get the flu. meh

Let's see.... I hate admitting it, but I'm scared to death of a lot of bugs, especially centipedes and moths! Dunno why, I just am.

I'm freaked out by heights too. Which is odd, because I can ride in a plane just fine. In fact, I LOVE flying. Very Happy

I used to get seriously freaked out by shows about aliens and ghosts as a kid, too. But I still liked to watch em. XD Nowadays it's less scary to me.... still gives me the shivers though!

The problem with the flu shot is that is only works for the previous years flu bug so what you are really getting inoculated with is last years flu virus. But as for the tracking device we shall never know. Rolling Eyes Laughing
