| I don't like being in the water. Bathtubs on up to the ocean put me at unease and can turn to panic. The phobia is mostly from sharks but fish, other marine life, drowning, and the general helplessness of being in the water have had their part too. |

| Most people are afraid of spiders because they have eight legs as opposed to the usual two-four that we find acceptable. _________________ I'm a werewolf, not a vampire! |

| I hate moths too Evolution so it's nothing to be ashamed of! I once brought the washing in from the line, put it on the bed and found the most enormous moth just sitting there. Obviously I screamed the house down and Himself had to take the moth and put it out of the window. He admitted that it had a wingspan of about seven inches! I hate heights, I once had to be physically carried down from the castle walls at Conwy because I was clinging to them. And to add to my total madness I dont like clowns although as Johnny Depp has a similar fear, I feel that I'm in rather good company with that one _________________ Well, the Devil he taught us how to rock and then he turned us loose |

I totally despise deep water. Just seeing it makes me fill with dread. I was playing the Wii game Endless Ocean (mistake) and I was trying my best not to have a fit until this scary music started when I was going into a dark abyss under the ocean. Yes, I turned the game off right away! |

Hmmm, then again maybe it's the falling I am more afraid of rather than the heights. |

| I have a fear of moving water.....duh. Water with waves. In Portugal when I was 11, I went swimming. No surprise there. I went everyday. I came back toasted. Of course where my parents are from it's right smack in the middle of the Atlantic Azores In the zoomed in pic, where we are from is the largest island, Sao Miguel... but anyways.... One day when I went swimming, the waves were bigger than usual. I got thrown from the water to the beach. I never set foot in there again. I'll swim in large bodies of water as long as there is no waves. This is the beach you go down a set of stairs that is behind the wall |

| I generally avoid spiders and snakes, but thats because where I live if you dont, then you will most likely die. Things Im actually scared of? Well I used to be deathly afraid of the dark, which Im getting much better at. I still get freaked out though, if its dark, and Im outside by myself, or something. Or there is a massive fridge at work full of big bags.. which someone could totally hide behind to kill me or something, because its really dark in there. That freaks me out. But I used to be much worse with the dark, to the point where I wouldnt go to sleep until I was absolutely exhausted because I was so afraid of the dark I couldnt close my eyes. I wouldnt play games at school where you had to close your eyes. I still slept with a nightlight until just recently. Finally Im able to sleep in the dark though. Im also terrified of public speaking. It causes me panic attacks. The other thing is not being able to breathe. A combination of this, and my fear of the dark is I think what causes me such a problem with swimming. But Im getting better at that too Not that its dark when I go swimming. But the fact that I cant see, means its almost the same thing. |

| Arachnophobia - fear of spiders. Ophidiophobia - fear of snakes. Acrophobia - fear of heights. Autophobia - fear of being alone. Necrophobia - fear of death/the dead. Sociophobia - fear of society and/or people. Trypanophobia - fear of needles or injections. Anachrophobia That should cover them all... Or at least the majority... |

I don't know what it is... some times I can psych myself out to where it's not as bad as they sometimes are (some times it's a mind psyching us out into it being painful)... But... I dunno... the risk of getting air in your bloodsteam, the "slight" pain (of varying degrees), the size of the needle, how hard it's puncturing your skin... oh god, the thought of them "missing" and having to do it again.
But I will admit... having donated plasma, some times it's ultimately up to the nurse (or other trained professional) that determines how pleasant or horrific a needle can be. I've had a few who punctured my vein while I was reading and I didn't even flintch... while I've had others in which it hurt for days. So yeah... unless I'm starving poor or extremely sick... I stay completely away from needles. Flu Shot my a$$. lol |
