| Even though I turned in total crap in my last assignment, my professor gave me full credit. I really thought I'd get a bad grade. |

Curious, what are some of the parameters of your diet routine? That's a great start, your body was obviously shocked at whatever changes you did. Now don't be let down if weeks three through six show barely half that kind of loss, as long as you stay on a steady progression...and it's a healthy diet. |

| Congrats DD! I think yesterday's interview went really well. Interviewed by 3 people at the science museum, and they seemed to find the State-mandated interview guidelines as cumbersome as I have found the State application process. They've got a huge expansion going on and they need a LOT of help. If I get the job I'll be working my tail off -- it's a little intimidating but it will feel great to be part of a bigger project that increases community education. I'll also earn more than I did at the gallery ($2.75 an hour more) and I'll officially be working for the State. Expecting notification in 2 wks; hoping for the best! The position is Administrative Assistant to the Director of Exhibits and Emerging Media (though in fact I'll be coordinating info from 4 different people rather than one). Here's what's involved: | Spoiler: | | | Responsible for the management of the Director of Exhibit and Emerging Media office including day-to-day operations, work flow, calendar and appointments, files, and coordination of activities for Museum programs and staffing. This includes determining the goals, objectives and priorities of the Office of the Director of Exhibits and Emerging Media, and some decision-making authority with regards to planning and process of Director’s office and activities. Coordinate and implement special projects that involve management of scheduling and documentation of a variety of portfolios including grants, collaborations, staffing, programs, research, education and technology, as well as assisting with the integration of existing Museum programs with the NRC operations. Activities include linkages between State, Federal Government and private sector. (1) Must have experience usingthorough office management skills including accuracy in letters, memos, budget reports, and minutes; timelines and deadlines (2) Demonstrated ability to develop and implement policies and procedures relative to the administration of a diverse set of exhibit, emerging media and Museum or Science education programs (3) Demonstrated ability to organize and manage a diverse portfolio of activities undertaken by the director Successful candidates must have the ability to work with little oversight, the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with public and private partners and individuals and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, supervisors, counterparts in other sections, and contractors. |

| I got an A in one class and a B in the other. Could've been a B+, as I had an 88 average, but my school doesn't do plus or minus letter grades. Still happy. |

| ^^ Ah cool. We're expecting rain this week, so we'll get the same free car wash. Just placed an order for lots of Swarovski rhinestones in some of these sumptuous colors. LOTS of them. 10 of this and 10 of that. But b/c they're inexpensive, the order only came to $13 and change. And shipping was free b/c the order was over $10. |

| Thanks! Just got word that they shipped out today. It's a freaky-warm day here: sunny, breezy and 75 degrees. Just got in from a walk with Milo. So many things I'd like to go outside and do, but too many for one day! |
