| I wonder if the reason why my Orpheus is so big and muscular is because he has not yet been neutered or if it is genetic? I grew up with all of my male cats being neutered, so I rarely got to see what an adult cat looks like when they are saturated with hormones. _________________ I'm a werewolf, not a vampire! |

I hate when people write in pen in books. |
Me too. It looks like a$$.
I want a makeover. I want to keep my long hair & its color, but want a different style. Soon I am going to be getting new glasses. I am so tired of the ones I have, plus have not had an eye exam since 2007, so I am convinced I am due. I am just bored with my look & want something different & more suited to my tastes at this age. |

I had an exam for the first time in two years and since I was wearing expired contacts, my corneas were swollen. I have to go back tomorrow to continue the exam after wearing a truly fresh pair for a week.
Edit: I don't think one of my parent's peahens likes the ducks because she keeps fanning out her feathers and approaching them, but they don't appear to pay her any mind. It's like they are saying, "b!tch please. There is plenty of yard for you to get your bug feed."_________________ I'm a werewolf, not a vampire! |

Even more so when you're with a person or people who make you feel more worthy than you've felt in a long time. I understand how hard it is when you're in a relationship & sometimes attention gets spurred to other aspects & you feel...off (for lack of better phrasing) Whenever I get into that boat, I have to think & constantly remind myself of the practicality of my current location & what to value from where I am. I hope you can feel better soon about the whole situation, especially since you can't mention your problem to anyone. Maybe tell your husband about your feelings? Not towards Alaskan boy, but towards the general malaise your experiencing? Tell him he needs to pamper you or something. |
Yes! You get me!
Absence does make the heart grow fonder, and I have to admit my husband must have really really missed me because he has just been amazing these past few days. But it's more the other aspects of my life that I did not have to deal with in Miami - my friends' circus freak show wedding planning, my problems at work, my job search that isn't going anywhere, etc. Oy. But yeah, the Mr. and I do need to talk, about life in general.
|
I'm not judging, since I don't have any personal sense of connection to your love-life, but is even talking about the Alaskan Boy Toy such a good idea? Whatever the issues with you and your husband are, or about life in general, isn't it possible he could go onto this website and read your posts about some random dude who possibly played northern exposure with his wife? I reiterate, I don't know what you and the Boy-Toy did, nor do I care to judge since I'm all for the fun to had, but if your hubby isn't; I don't want to hear about it becoming a crazy big issue.
It's just coming off as: stressed out gal who's planning a bridal party and wedding for her super annoying and needy friend is having difficulties at home with her husband too. Gal takes a week off from everything in Miami and hooks up with random cute Alaskan tourist she meets, and now she can get back to planning the party with a clearer head, plus her husband makes pancakes for breakfast-in-bed everyday because he missed her so much.
I just don't want it to end like: husband finds out about Alaskan boy and burns down their apartment building with them both still inside during heartbroken rage. Bride skips her Maid of Honor's funeral to harass other bride's maids over who's going to take charge of all her crappy demands.
Maybe, just maybe, not being able to physically talk about the Alaskan to anybody is a good thing, it happened, past tense being the focal portion of the word. Enjoy the memories of the experience and move forward, actually work toward moving all the portions of your life forward: work, marriage, circus wedding. Miami was just a splurge; that day of the week you don't go to the gym and eat 2 bowls of ice cream in your pajamas when you're dieting; you're still committed to the diet, but sometimes for sanity's sake you just need some f'n ice cream. |

| Went out for a run for the first time in months. I'd got up to week 4 of my plan back then, figured I'd start off again at week 2, thinking it would be an fairly easy warming up to get back into it.
I finished it but was a lot harder than I remember. Disappointing backslide, and makes me think about how far along I'd be if I hadn't stopped in the first place. |

At least you started back up & are doing fairly well still. Getting out of the running habit is easy & it's hard to get back on track, but you'll get to where you feel you need to be soonly. |

| ^^Totally!
In my human resource management class we watch video clips from various movies about human resource issues for assignments. A couple weeks ago we watched Young Frankenstein. My (the only one) response to watching this was Sweet! Today, professor announced we would be watching a clip from Legally Blonde, to which everyone responded: Cool! Sweet! Yay! Awesome! plus some excited laughter. My response: Blank stare. Haha! |

I've gone to a few shows by my lonesome, granted I've known that bartenders and staff of the venue, or some members of the bands in those instances. Or, I'll end up seeing someone I know from some random place and end up chewin the fat with them for a minute; but going to a show alone could lead to some new friends or some good times.
Who'd you see by the by? |
