How many of you mothers have had a problem with your infant picking up a phone to play with it and constantly calling people? My nephew keeps calling his grandparents but is too rude to not speak (and don't tell me he can't because he hasn't developed speech yet).

What if we are all just statues bought by the ancient Egyptians to do their work in the afterlife? Rich or poor, the gods will call upon all souls to perform a job for them, but the rich can send a representative to do the job in place of them, so what if we are all just performing tasks for the ancient dead?

^^Meh. I just focus on the here and now. Life is too short to question everything and second guess oneself. I think one needs to take ownership of one's choices. Yes, I f**ked up, so what? There is no one correct path for anyone.

I feel like I've been away from here forever.

So this month they started having a snack cart come around for us on Wednesdays at work. Normally I grab some apple slices or a cranberry almond bar, as opposed to the Oreos and chips and whatnot. And this week I've got back into eating right, which has been quite easy. Really cut out all the crap foods, and even stopped eating wheat on advice, just to give it a try. Needless to say, I wasn't exactly fearing the snack cart today.

Being the end of the month however, they decided to do something extra special, and got a ton of Auntie Annie's pretzels.
