| ^^I love when that happens A thought popped into my head earlier: Do people still enjoy modesty? I got to thinking about wardrobes & even personalities & how I consider myself to be modest compared to some, but then not modest at all compared to some. It made me wonder if modesty is still something people seek/respect considering a lot of people anymore feel they have nothing to hold back. |

| I'm still wondering what my mom was babbling on about. According to her, I'm going to have a culture shock, not because of the different language and lifestyles, but because of how differently women are treated in Europe. Basically, she seems to have the idea that women are subservient to men in Europe... The only thing that really comes to my mind when she talks like this is how Europe is so far ahead of the US not only in women's rights but civil liberties in general.
WTF was she smoking? |

I am very self concious and I have always thought I was fat and ugly. I guess you could say I've always longed to wear a bikini, that cute little belly shirt, or know what it would be like to look pretty in the dress with the mesh over the stomach. In reality I know that no one wants to see my chub roll that looks like I'm a prego. I don't want to have people say more mean things to me to make me feel worse about myself. I guess I know my place. |

1960's Addams Family, or the 1991 Addams Family? This question went through my brain last night as I tried to sleep. Is it possible to love each equal? |

Agreeing with Ginger here. They are different enough, and the movie is respectful of the style of the original series. Wish I had pics of Mom when she was little and dressed as Morticia one year for Halloween.
On Saturday night G and I went to a dinner party held by two of my ex-clients. The husband has friends at local area museums and corporate businesses, and is going to great lengths to introduce me to people who might be helpful to my career. I was a little nervous, but we had a great time; I'm hoping something good comes of this too, naturally. I'm also meeting with him and a friend of his in the HR field sometime this week for lunch.
Just want to get a job at the NCMA and stop this job-hunting bull! lol I'm thankful for his efforts; just antsy and wanting to get into a job that makes use of the experience I've already got. |

I wish my speakers would start working again. Maybe I should just stop waiting around and take it back to BestBuy, but they take forever for repairs... *grumblegrumble* |
