| Getting ready to go see my mom before I go to my evening class, and talking to DCGG on fb chat. I've been trying to pack up my clothes and random things I have at my brother's house to do the move back home. My sister says if Mom does make it through her hospital stay, that her aftercare will be too great for me to do on my own. It will be nice to sleep in an actual bed again, though |

I'll try. It's hard not to be super happy and get carried away with time and such. I've been all giggles and floating in dream land. |

| Trying to clean up a bit around my brother's house, and then off to Salvation Army to find a chest of drawers for my closet. Hopefully something in black or a dark wood that doesn't smell like mothballs. |

I've got to be honest, I have no desire to job-search today. I will anyway, but I might give myself a little time off to go out walking or do things around the house. Or maybe -- egad -- do my nails for a change. |

| ^^Thanks, Red. I heard she's doing okay. Despite what people say, job searching is not a full time job. You should definitely take the day for yourself. Right now I'm being a total b!tch to the other bridesmaid, just because I can. Well, she deserves it. She picked a ridiculously pricey place to have dinner for the bachelorette party. I'm sorry, but I am not spending $90 plus for dinner, especially since I can't eat anything from the menu she picked out, except for the salad. I ain't payin' $90 for salad! |

| Damn right you won't pay that! That's friggin' nuts!
Glad your mother-in-law is doing better.
So I got my hours back from school. From 30 a week to 18 now back up to 30. One of my co-workers is 18 and decided to join the Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program. WHich they do the chef training at my job (she wants to be a chef I guess) So her days were available. So now I'll be working 6 Days a week (twice on Wednesday) 7 when the gallery needs me to clean up after an event. This couldn't come at a more perfect time. Me and Michael were talking about doing the wedding in the summer. So this money is a big help. But i'll be drained. Wish me luck that I can handle this. |

| Just got home. Left work early to see my mother-in-law, who had a nasty fall. She only ended up with black and blues on her knees, but from the way she was carrying on I thought she had sustained major injuries! Also went to Home Goods to get gifts for the bride-to-be for her bridal shower tomorrow. With all the party planning nonsense I had forgotten to get her something. Oops. |

| ^Glad she's ok! I know bad falls for older people can be pretty devastating sometimes.
Still packing. I already have a few boxes packed up to go, and it doesn't even look like I made a dent in the place. Going to mop the floors, then go visit my mom. |

I'm texting people and trying to catch up on the usual stuff I do online before getting lost in that game again. |

| Watching an episode of Metal Evolution, featuring Nightwish. They interviewed Tarja & Tuomas Holopainen<-- I could listen to that man talk all day Tarja is a dream boat herself, naturally, but it's hard not to drool over Tuomas. |

| I got back from the bridal shower a little while ago. Thing went a lot better than I thought it would, and it looks like everyone had a good time. It took the bride-to-be a whole hour to open up all her gifts. I'm not quite sure what she expects to do with so many crystal bowls, though. LOL |

So we heard you're kinda gothy, we're kinda gothy ourselves.
Just finished up about 5 hours of work on a sculpture I built inside of a 1960's suitcase I found in my family's attic, time to get some sleep before the Superbowl.... go Giants. |

| Taking a break from reading. I've actually been productive today with homework. I'm almost done with this reading assignment and it's not even due until Tuesday. I've even started on my French homework too.

Caffeine?
I could use some myself. Got all sorts of stuff to do today. I've decided to renew my insurance for this month, just in case (and so I can hopefully get another 3-month discounted set of birth control pills); email a resume to the Raleigh City Museum, where there might be a position open in the spring; check out a shopping center's website to plan a job-hunting visit; re-check the Barnes & Noble job site; and research the office park up the street from me -- if I work there, I can walk to work and forego bus fare entirely.
Will also go to Target's fitness section and pick up some weights -- some jobs would require me to lift up to 30 pounds, so I'll go see how feasible that is for me. |

| Just got home, about to do some laundry, and considering ordering Microsoft Office Professional 2010. It's normally $349, but I can get it for $10 through my work. |

| Getting ready to go talk to some school counselors. Not sure if I should withdrawal from my classes this semester, or if they will give me an incomplete to finish in the summer. Either way, I decided that I need to take some time off. Take care of my Dad, and pack my Mom's stuff. |

| ^^I hope everything works out. Sometimes taking care of family is more important. I am sure the counselors will be very understanding. |
