My thoughts are similar except just because I can't get an attractive one doesn't mean I'm going to settle for less. If I can't have what I want, I might as well not have one at all._________________ I'm a werewolf, not a vampire!   |

Don't ever settle for a person you know you won't be that compatible with physically, emotionally or intellectually. Now that's not to say people should deny someone because they're looking for someone else who's "perfect", because then they're bound to be lonely. Everybody has imperfections, but I can't stand when I see someone start or continue a relationship with someone that is not good for them, simply because they don't want to be alone completely.
Of course, this is all relationship talk, if you just want to have some fun with someone; standards or completely on a separate level. |

My friend isn't even giving people a chance. If anything, she's being hypocritical: she wants men to accept her as she is, but she's not willing to do the same for men.
She's with me here in Miami, she's in my same program. The entire time she's been bitching and moaning about how unattractive the men are. OMG - there are plenty of good looking folks here. No Brad Pitts or Matt Damons, but some nice looking people overall. She needs to give people a chance. I mean seriously, she's no prize herself. |

| if I died today I'd end up being claimed by the state and stuffed into a numbered crate in a mass grave stacked up 5-6 high, burried in the most depressingly barren span of land anyones seen like its a warehouse of the dead and all of the bodies are just files... Meh. I just went into my preferences and shut it off that way. Easy fix, but a little annoying.
EDIT. Or maybe not... I just tried resetting it again because it changed itself back to yes for the notifications.. |

| I am having a fabulous time in Miami, a fact that I cannot share with the rest of the world on Facebook because my friend (and roommate) appears to be having a miserable time. She's moody and being unusually solitary. I kinda felt bad because I kinda sorta ditched her the other day to hang out with my Alaskan boy toy. Not really ditching since we didn't really agree to have lunch together that day. Anywho, I tried talking to her about it, you know, to apologize, but her response was, "we'll just do our own thing now."
