| ^^Good luck! I thought my Alaskan boy toy had all but forgotten about me but he sent me a message this morning to check in and tell me he's been thinking about me. Man, did I really really really need that. Except now I'm not quite sure how to respond. |

| I feel happy because I still have the passion to stop & appreciate the joy of a beautiful morning & take in a lung full of fresh air. Also, friends that make me laugh & smile |

| I was able to talk to my mom tonight. When I say talk to her, I mean just me talking..but it was ok. It seemed like she was actually listening too, which really made me feel better. I told her how amazing she's doing, and how I love her. Her eyes under her lids started to move, and she started to move her lips. It made me very hopeful, and happy. |

| Ate like a total fatty today, but it was delicious.
Had cake at work, then an Italian calzone, followed by a meal out with the family for my grandmother's birthday, which I had Cowboy Shepherd's Pie, followed by a bit of birthday cake.
Cowboy Shepherd's Pie: "Tender slow smoked brisket, topped with our creamy almost world famous Mac-N-Cheese and BBQ sauce"
It was f**king delicious.
Also, going to join a gym, I've decided. There's one that opened up not 2 minutes from my work, so the option to go before work or after work is definitely there. |

"Almost word famous", yes, they are keeping it real.
We're not world famous yet, but we're on our way good sirs and madams. |

Found a video review of the place we went, where they happened to have had the same thing I did:

Will definitely go back there at some point. It really was excellent. |

| So every week this month we've had a raffle. Have 0 errors in your work, and you get put into the raffle.
I've ended up winning 3 of the 4 raffles.
Hello $75 worth of free groceries from gift cards.
Also, got pulled over on the way home, but had just about the nicest cop ever. No ticket, and told me to make sure I put the Registration decal on my plate, (I had it but forgot to put it on) in case I come across someone "with a hair on his a$$" who would try and fine me for it. |

| Just had an interview at a frame shop/small gallery that initially said they weren't hiring, but upon seeing my resume and talking with me, they are trying to make room in their budget for me. Nothing is certain yet, but they've asked me to contact them with past career highlights to see what I can bring to their shop. Also: I've submitted info and images of my jewelry (and one collage) to a local arts center run by the City's parks and rec dept. If they approve, I will have a show in their gallery space sometime this year! I'll still have the Etsy shop up and running, but the local exposure could be door-opening for me. Today has given me some hope, even though I also found out I've been rejected for the spa position. Other things listed above are still making me feel like good things may well come my way. |

| ^^That's great news! I hope everything works out well today. I got a rejection email today from a job I applied to. Yes, it sucked for a minute, but then I realized that they at least bothered to look at my application and respond. It's better than not getting any response at all. |

| I've decided to put in my two weeks at the current job. I had been hoping to have another job in place before I quit, but with the amount of homework I have I'd rather have all the free time I can get. this might seem counter productive to me saving money for Europe, but I plan to work in a factory over the summer. Entry level at a factory is about $9.25 an hour here and they constantly have overtime. The factory my dad works at I probably have the best chance at as he's a supervisor of an entire shop there and knows the owner/boss. |

I think it's probably because of the area I'm in. We have some of the lowest unemployment rates in the nation... Plus I'm usually going for entry level jobs |

| ^Sounds like fun! I haven't been on a double date in forever! The last one I went on ended badly :p Had a really good day. Spent most of it searching in vein for a chest of drawers with my old friend, and then having lunch and drinks together at a local Mexican restaurant. It was nice to get out for a change, and do something. I later came home, and looked in my brothers garage to find a chest of drawers from an old, old bedroom set my mom bought when she was 16. My mom has been making small baby-steps in her progress (5 1/2 hours on dialysis). She's a strong old witch, and is not going out without a fight! Tonight I'm going out with Dakota (boyfriend) to a hooka bar to people watch, and relax a bit. |
