I am all snuggled up because it's freezing balls outside. I am glad I have a warm home to snuggle up in. I wish I had a warm man to cuddle up to as well, but that will come eventually

Himself has just come in the room, told me I'm the Queen of the Night and gone off to watch football. I feel absurdly chuffed by this

Also happy because I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow. The back is now two inches long and the sides are about 15 inches and it needs a tidy up. Going to talk about getting a half red, half white fringe with my lovely hairdresser. I have the cash but I'm not entirely sure about the bleaching process

I don't have to walk to class anymore today in the cold.

Went to Books-A-Million before going to class and got another H.P. Lovecraft book and a calender of classical Japanese woodblock prints.

I'm happy for a few reasons.

1) I normally don't like ham, but I picked some up from the deli and made a ham, munster cheese, mayo and mustard sandwich. It is really good.
2)After class I went to target and picked up a weight scale and another pillow. Hopefully now my neck won't hurt as much when I sleep. Even though that isn't shopping galore, it was nice to get out of my apartment even if it was just to get things I need.

The sun is actually shining today. *soaks in the sunbeams* ahhhhh

I love my hairdresser! I now have an "alternative" Louise Brooks bob which she has cut in a way that I can back comb it and look like one of the models from the Kreepsville ads. She may be in her late 50s but she's as cool as f**k

^^I was thinking about getting one, but I figured just getting a firmer pillow might work. The two I have feel paper thin. While I'm home I have 3 pillows and they are higher then the ones I have here so I figured a firmer one might help.

I picked up a cheap but delicious bottle of sweet red wine that is dancing upon my palette in a most delightful way. It's subtle yet still has a good flavor. Yay for cheap tasty wine

I'm happy because I found out that one of my friends is working on building a cob house, and is going to teach me all about cob construction once the weather gets warm enough to resume work on the structure. I'm psyched, because DIY eco-homebuilding has long been a fascination of mine.

It's warm enough outside that while wearing my hoodie, coat, and gloves I'm not freezing cold. I'm also happy because one of the side walk area's is completely shoveled. Now I just need the other one to be shoveled and I'll be good. I heard the temp is supposed to drop next week and that will make me sad.

We also got assigned a project today. She said coming to class on friday is going to be optional because she is going to make it a study hall. My partner and I decided we liked the idea of sleeping in and meeting at the library at either 11am or noon instead.

One hour spent not working but cuddling with Blake Austin Morris (aged one month today). Mr Damnation has told me that I'm not allowed another baby so I may have to get a polecat instead
