| ^^ Excellent. Times like those make up for some of the times when you work hard and think "I should be getting more $ for this!" I'm getting out early today, possibly before noon. |

I got paid for something kinda like that. I was working with a disabled little girl and I was working a shift that was going to be over 24 hours. The company said I'm not allowed to sleep on the job which I can understand. But they also have a rule that I have to listen to the parents rules. The mom told me that while her daughter was asleep for the night I had to sleep too, so I could take better care of her daughter. I got paid to sleep for 7 hours.... on more then one occasion. I worked a lot of 24+ hour shifts with that little girl. |

| 2010 is almost over....hehehehe I'm not sure how I feel about it being 2011 because of the odd number. Then again, surprisingly enough, odd numbered years usually work out well for me, so we shall see..... Also, I love getting home-made art from people I adore |

Nope. I have financial aid from school to help with most of what I need. The job was mainly for extra money. Until I find another one, I just live a little more modestly (frozen veggies rather than fresh, no frozen pizza, ect).
If all else, both the colleges have student employment help. |

| I hung out with matt for a bit yesterday before he had to go to work. He has been very crabby a lot lately because he has been constantly sick, he is tried from working a lot of hours, and he has to move soon but doesn't know where he is going to yet. He said he should be out by monday but has to find out where he is moving to instead.
I had to tell you all that story to get to this one... I was driving him around and he was being a crab. He looks out the window and there is a long pause. Then he turns to me while I'm driving and says, "I can't wait until we have a house of our own." I asked him why. He said because when we have a place of our own things will be better. He will get to see me everyday and know that he can protect me. He will know that he never has to move again unless we want to. He will finally have his own little family and us being engaged/married will finally feel real.
Can anyone say "Awwwwwwwwww" for me at this moment? It really touched me and made me smile. Moments like that remind me of the man I fell in love with and a time when he wasn't so hurt and flustered. Moments like that make me hopeful for our future and what it will be. |

Well, just about every retail store I see (around here) is looking for an assistant manager.... plus hospitals and nursing homes seem to always be looking for new people. |

| ^^ Awesome. A new phone is on my list once I'm more solidly employed.
I'm actually looking forward to reworking my resume: I found a local holistic wellness center that may need an admin assistant. This would of course be a career transition for me, at least topically -- I have plenty of organizational/admin skills though. A friend of mine has given me pointers on writing a functional resume, i.e. one that focuses on my general skills (and lists where I got them second), so that should help them see more of me and less of the gallery. |

I was gutted for you when I read today about the job and it's complications but you got an offer which has to boost your confidence.
Wishing you all the luck in the world for the holistic centre, I think you would be an incredible asset to it and they would be lucky to have you on board x _________________ Well, the Devil he taught us how to rock and then he turned us loose |

| The photo shoot yesterday was awesome. It was great to see Matt & just bullsh*t & laugh. My photos turned out really well too. Then today he asked if I would like to help do some demolition work/renovation on a movie/photo studio for $15 an hour. Hell yes! |

| My dinner with matt was amazing. The bracelett I got for him was the exact one he wanted so it was nice to hear him super happy and excited like a little boy again. Unfortunately he had to go in to work, but if things work out well we are going to have a sleep over when he gets out. |
