| I'm waiting to see if something happens. I'm trying to calm myself down. I'm trying not to let my emotions win but it isn't working out very well. |

| Dicking around on Ancestry.com... Since my Uncle gave me a few more names, I was able to add a few lineages to the tree. I'm currently adding people that were alive in the 1700s. |

How much does that cost, also how good is it at finding ancestors? |

Neat!
Right now I'm procrastinating. I have some reports to write that were due last week. Meh. |

That depends...I only wanted to pay for a month (though, it's a subscription that will charge monthly but can be cancelled at any time) so I was charged 29.95. There's a 3 month subscription for a little cheaper per month and a yearly subscription that's even cheaper per month, but they're both charged in one payment (3 months at say, 25.95 per month, the card would get charged about $75).
As to whether it's any good or not, you have to start with a good base of knowledge about your family. I already knew one side of the family back to their immigration here and so won't have a hard time finding (American) documents on them. The other side, I had to get the names of my great grandmother's parents before I started getting hits off of that. ....And then there's the enigma that is my great grandfather Elza. He never told his family much about himself other than he came here from Indiana and that he was born there. I can find census records of him in Nebraska, but before that it's almost like he never existed. I'm going to be taking a trip up to Lincoln soon and get a copy of his marriage certificate to see if that can give me any more information. It would help if Ancestry could understand that if I type in Elza or Isaac and select their gender as MALE I don't want hits for Eliza or Elizabeth.
Also, the collection of records Ancestry has seems to focus more on the coasts. Nebraska didn't seem to give much else than Federal and state censuses.... censi? ...whatever the plural is. But again, that might be because of state privacy laws. |

| Sitting around. Probably do some reading. Didn't really enjoy my ONLY day off this week. Wanted to catch up on sone shows and be lazy all day. My mom dragged me to the mall early in the morning to get new frames. She misplaces her coin purse at the dollar store. And of course some d!ck finds it and takes whatever money was in there. It wasnt alot but that was MY MOMs money. If I caught the person I might have punched them in the face. And I have work early in the AM again. 5:30. Good thing that this is the last week of chaos at work. Cleaning lady finally comes back from her 5 week vacation. I'll actually get some days of and enjoy what's left of my summer before I go back to my other sh!t hole job. |

| I'm sitting around waiting to see if anyone wants to hang out. My friend went to canada with her brother and said she will be back in a few hours. The other one, I don't know what is going on with her. It was weird because I drove past coney and matt wasn't there. At least I didn't see his car... He should be there. |

| Worrying about my mom's biopsy tomorrow, which is stupid because I can't do anything about it anyway. Besides that, trying to get ready for bed. (And failing! Damn you internet!) |
