Trying to get home. We spent the earlier part of the day in the country, at my hubby's granddad's house. While he was alive he tended to use the place as storage, so now my hubby and his uncle are tryiung to clean it up.

Anywho, now we're sitting in traffic now. I'm a bit worried because there was a major storm in the city, and the news mentioned downed trees and power outages in my neighborhood. I hope there isn't any damage to my apartment.

Cyn, I had a chocolate tart and coconut sorbet for dessert last night. It was divine!

I'm having a three bean salad and a slice of tomato zucchini tart. I made both myself!

I'm randomly surfing the interwebs and watching seed of chucky. I feel like my day was rushed away from me. I really wish I can someone I could talk to on the phone or hang out with right now. I'm not sure, but I would like something to do or surf for online.

Working. Trying to do 30 tings at one time. It sucks.

Catching up on e-mails after being out of town since Friday.

Trying to remember to breathe... properly I mean, not little nervous wisps of air. The ongoing crappy work situation has affected my sense of self; I need to remember to take care of my health in spite of chronic negativity.

I'm hating my day already. I have to go to work and I don't want to and the puppy just peed everywhere and puked on the carpet. I think my mom brought my brother over but I don't know. I should wash my swim suit before work so it doesn't smell, but I really don't want to and I have lost my will to care.

Recovering. I ran a very good current events group at work, but I was on my feet the whole time. I'm exhausted!

I'm leaving in about 12 minutes anyway. I might go to Michael's to get some toggle clasps and crimp beads. I bead bug has bitten me again!

^^I can't do that. If I'm just standing around for 30 min I want to sit. I'm very odd. I can only stay standing for long periods of time at specific places.

I'm watching the history on russian tsars on the history channel. Once that is all over at 4am they are going to have a special on the witch trials. Yes I will be up until 5am or later. Is it worth it? I think so.

I want to make some lunch and coffee before i go to work.

At work. Working and whatnot. It's just me and a case manager in the office and i reallywish she'd stop talking to me. I don't understand three quarters of the things she says in either English or Spanish, and the little I can make out is nothing but job complaints. Oy! Everyone here is so negative. It makes me sad.

^^ That's exactly how I feel re: on the job negativity, Diva. It's such a downer.

I'm reassessing my skills, finding Craigslist useless, and wondering which museum I'll pester next to hire me. I think I might have some actual framing work to do this afternoon, too.

Yep, the negativity here is astounding. There's a lot of gossip going around here: "she doesn't do anything!", "watch your back", "don't tell her I said...". I know there's always some of that in any work place, but here's it's ridiculous.

Right now I'm just chilling for a bit. In a few I'll have to do some case noting, get my lesson plan ready for tomorrow's job readiness group, etc.

Sounds like the ladies are having a cat fight outside. LOL Too lazy to look out the window right now.

My mom and aunts friend are talking. My aunt will be here soon to help out. They keep telling me scare stories that you see people losing everything they have like commercials on tv. It scares me to a point but I'm mostly worried for my mom. I have to leave for work in 3 hours. I kinda want to take the dogs for a walk just to get out of the house but it's really hot out there. I'm not sure what I want to do.

I miss everyone here. I just moved to Missouri, about 45 minutes outside of St. Louis. I am the closest this whole area has to goth.

I hate paperwork too! I don't have readily accessible internet access yet, but that's on the list of things to take care of. I have to go to the local library to check my e-mail. The one social networking site I can access easily from my phone is Facebook.

I'm decompressing after a frustrating day. I found the business card of someone I've been meaning to contact for a *long* time about a possible job at the Museum of History.

I'm watching america's got talent. I love that show. Besides that my mom just got home and after I finish going over things on here I'm going to talk to her for a bit before I go back to my show. I like being able to pause tv. That way you can do things you wanna do and come back to it later. Normally I would just record it, but lately my dvr has been erasing that specific entire program when there are 10 minutes left.
