Well I didn't like how they found out, but most of the people on my moms side of the family now know that I'm engaged.

Today my friends and I desided we aren't going away for our big trip but will be having a trip in our own general area. It will be cheaper and we will have extra money to do a second outing. When I find out more details I will let you all know what they are.

I have an appt. to have my hair re-dyed at 4:30. Early birthday present from G. It's such a treat to have a pro do it -- I'm really looking forward to it!

Class was only an hour today. it's usually 3

and the quizzes were postponed...AGAIN!

I'm kind of happy about this.... My aunt is taking me shopping today for clothes and things I will need for when I move. That part I'm unhappy about is where she is thinking about taking me. We will see how things work out in a few hours.

and where would that be? I'm guessing some stores more aimed for the "normal folks" of society?

She wants to take me to sears. I am not a big fan of them to begin with. For things like towels and such it doesn't bother me. When it comes to clothes I hate them. I have never seen anything there that I like. They are more in tuned for popular fashion. That isn't the type of things I like. The fashions out now remind me of the 70's or 80's and I'm not a big fan.

^^OMG, when I used to work in the Bronx I would buy most of my clothes at the Sears across the street from my job. I used to find sooo much stuff there! Stay away from the juniors section (that's where you'll find all the trendy crap)...if you go the misses section I'm sure you'll find some nifty stuff.

I miss Sears.

^^ I agree w/Diva -- really nice, timeless stuff in the misses or women's sections! They are usually right across from juniors. When you see nice office-y looking things, you're in the right spot -- have a look through and you'll probably find things in satin, georgette, lace, maybe some Autumn stuff if you're lucky! And the shoes are just as nice, usually.
