At my new job, slightly frieghtened. I'm alone in this office since most of my coworkers have not shown up yet. Right now it's just me, the admin assistant tnad some other chick, and those two are in another office. So far I've had three residents knock onmy door looking for other staff.

I hate being hungry...

I'm really sick and tired of women on TV talent shows complaining about how hard it is being a single mother blah blah blah as if they deserve some kind of special consideration...especially when they're talentless hacks. LOL

^^ Ooh, I was just thinking of a massage. I miss going to that spa where I get them. Maybe around my birthday. Something's got to take the edge off turning 33.

So this morning I posted on Facebook the first few lines of the lyrics to Rush's "Working Man", which starts with

I actually got several responses from people complaining about their jobs, their commute and one person b*tching about how I had it easy..... totally oblivious that I was just reciting lyrics from a song.

It made me chuckle. I want to see who else responds before I post that those where lyrics to a Rush song.

After sleeping in for so long I actually feel bad that I did.

My mom is becoming insane. Just because I am leaving she is jumping down my throat to be with me at all times. She will sit in front of her computer all day and not listen to me. Then she will decide to jump into my plans with my friends without being invited. For example, we are thinking about going to cedar point (a roller coaster park in ohio) since warped tour doesn't have a lot of bands that we want to see this year. Not only is my mom trying to invite herself, but she is also trying to get a friend of hers to come with her. Then she even asked me what hotel do we all want to stay at. I don't know how to put to her nicely this is for my friends, matt, and myself only.

I think you just have to be subtle yet blunt if that makes sense?

My best friend's hubby (who I adore and consider to be the brother I never had) always wants to come and see the Damned with us and we have to be painfully blunt with him - we also buy him alcohol and steer him towards his Guitar Hero stuff
