I was actually surprised today... my father was watching golf ( ), and I overheard the castors/anchors/whatever they are called in golf talking about this, for some reason... and in a positive light. It was nice to hear that this horror has not been forgotten, and is still receiving recognition.

On a slightly sadder note... I'm sure this isn't news to anyone else, but I was not aware before that their attackers posed for photos with the couple before they jumped them.

I think it's a tragedy for poor Rob and Sophie. I was really disgusted when I first heard about this a year ago. I really feel sad for robert who has to try to continue on after sophies passing. Especially now that he's suffering from a number of medical problems. However I suppose I'm naive to wish that somthing good came from this. However the fact robert and sophie were goth doesnt matter to me what does is they were both two beautiful intellegent friendly people going about there business and discriminated against and physically harmed lets face it people of different groups are targeted all over the world. But it doesnt make there stories any less important dispite there not being goth.

I read an article about her mom and how she's doing almost one year later. It really is such a tragedy. It sounds like Sophie was a beautiful young woman, inside and out. I wear my Sophie wristband every day in honor of her.

Yes I know however it just does not seem right that they should get off or have the opportunuty to appeal and what if they do get off ? basically there getting off with a slap on the wrist. Where I ask is the justice in that?

I just wish that their appeal would result in them getting a harsher sentence but the one that the judge gave out in the first place is considered to be harsh enough. They will probably have their sentences reduced. The law is and will always be a complete ass!

I would love to see their rotten heads caved in by New Rocks
