I am procrastinating, as is my custom. I don't hate statistics, but I'm running out of examples to use in my assignments each week. I think I'll end up recycling one of my old ones. Ugh.

Looking at petfinder. I fall in love every time I look at that site, then get unspeakably angry that one of my roommates is being a b!tch about me wanting to adopt a kitty...

Kitties are quiet, low-maintenance, and make wonderful companions. I have no idea how anyone could be against them (spare people who have allergies...)

^^People are weird about cats. I just don't know why. When my friend was apartment hunting a couple of years back, she was turnd down in a few buildings because she owned a cat. They had a stict no cat policy. But get this: these same buildings were dog friendly. They had issues with cats but not dogs. I thought that was stupid considering that dogs are potentially dirtier since they need to poop outside.

Right now I'm trying to get through my to do list at work. It's a short list, but a couple of the tasks are unpleasant.

I just got home from cmu. It was horrible. I had to drive 2.5 hours there on one hour of sleep. I got there and did orientation, registration, talked with a VA rep, got my school ID, talked with financial aid, looked at the apartments I might be getting and had to drive all the way back during rush hour traffic and construction.

Matt and I went to dinner and I feel dead. I am going to research apartments around the campus cuz the financial aid advisor told me the amount I'm going to be paying seems too outragious. I'm probably going to go between researching apartments and watching tv before I go to bed. It kinda sucks because I'm not going to get a chance to sleep in all weekend. The plus is if I get an off campus apartment matt would probably move in with me and we can share rent.

I finally have a day off today. And of course it's crappy outside. Cloudy, with the chance of raining some more
Michael has the day off as well. Since the past couple of days have been bad (meaning we haven't spent too much time together. I worked Weds evening, he worked Thurs and Fri evening, and tomorrow he is busy for the better part of the day) So we are just gonna hang out all day today. He wants tacos, so we are gonna pick up the stuff we need. I already bought the soy meat yesterday

I've just dyed my hair "mystic violet" - it's supposed to be black with a purple sheen to it but I dont think, after leaving it on for an hour, that it's taken. My hair is still damp so I may wake up tomorrow with it looking as it should but somehow I doubt it

Sitting at home relaxing. The Mr. and I went for a long walk around the neighborhood and we got back a little while ago. Hm...what to do about dinner.

I've been watching movies on tv waiting to hear from someone. I tried calling alyssa several times because we are supposed to be working on our project. I tried calling my friend sha'kia to ask her some info about the college I'm moving to. I've also tried calling my neighbors daughter to see if she could help me. Neither of them have answered. Matt came over this morning but he couldn't sleep so he went to help his dad out with some stuff. I haven't heard from him since. That was at 10 this morning. My mom has been out all day with her friend trudy. It's getting dark and looks like it might storm. I feel bored and couped up. I'm not sure what I'm about to do from here.

Homework. I am so not in the mood for it.

It's hot and muggy outside.
Thunderstorms are in the works.
I'm getting ready for work then i'll head home and wait for Michael when I am done.
He has plans today and won't be back until this evening.

I didn't get very much sleep because it was too hot and humid in my room. Even with two fans on. So I'm up early and I have to go out for lunch with my aunt and uncle soon. I don't have time to take a shower but I just feel icky. I'm excited because my uncle lives out of town trying to become a priest and my aunt (his twin) is ususally out doing her own thing, so I don't get to see her very often either.

Procrastinating. More homework. Ugh.

I'm existing. I'm just lost. I don't know where I want to go or what I want to do. I don't know what I want to change or what I want to stay the same. I'm lost on making choices and I have so many that I still have to make.

^^I'm so sorry you're feeling this way. You're going through a tough transitional period right now, but once you start at your new college you'll be able to sort things out.

Going to get ready for bed. We've had one late night and two REALLY late nights and it's back to work tomorrow - I dont want to get up at 6.30am

Hoping the bf has a good time recording the vocal tracks for his friends band. His depression has been creeping up on him again.
He thinks it has to do with work. So we are going to the doctor tomorrow to sort it out.

Just payed off some bills and still have a few bucks left over. And having a skinny cow ice cream cone. Man, if feels like summer.

I'm thinking I'm about to go to bed soon. This weekend wasn't very relaxing and my house has been hot. So I haven't gotten very much sleep. My body feels weak.

Takin' care of business.

Working. I think I'm pretty much caught up. Oh, and the interns are here. Their semester is almost up, and since they were out alot, theyre trying to make up missing hours. So I'm taking advantage of the situation.

I just finished making some calls that I had to do and figuring out my clients hours for the rest of the month. Trust me I'm not liking the extra work I will be doing. But right now I think I'm going to take a shower and then have some tea while I'm waiting for matt to come back from doing his errands before I have to go to work.
