Totally left my box of food at the restaurant last night. ><

It was finally announced that one of the best long running nightclubs that held Datalink and other industrial live perfomances, is offically closed. This club was like a second home to me during the 80's, 90's, and 2000's.

I had a DJ'ing slot planned for this spring and summer, now I guess that won't happen unless I try guest DJ'ing for the Chimera nights (which is held at another club on a monthly basis).

R.I.P Warehouse/Underground.

It might not be so closed yet...


I heard of a few clubs that were reopened by some of the patrons.

You might could get nosey and find out why they are closing.

The printer at work needs constant babysitting these days... Jeez, they're only postcards! Stop spazzing!

The owner sent me an e-mail about his reasons for the closure:

-Liquor license issuses.
-Violations from the building inspectors (the place is old though).
-New lease agreement took a huge jump in the lease cost and required total renovations.
-Rezoning the type of club license.

Get this: The new landlord was a club member and we all feel stabbed in the back with a chainsaw when we found out that his intentions was to build a condo or another business if the owner didn't finalize the lease agreement.

The Warehouse/Underground would have to relocate or rebuild the building, either way the owner decided to call it quits.

HOWEVER, it has been recently rumored that our Datalink event may be relocated to 2 possible locations.
I'll also be discussing with the Chimera DJ/Organizer about the guest DJ slot, since she a dear friend and I help with all the FB event promo for her.

How do you tactfully tell a senior member of your family (not on my side I hasten to add) that he's being a complete idiot and hurting somebody?

I swear to the Goddess that if I had a shotgun......................... no more brother-in-law

My client was being really annoying today. I just wanted to yell at her and hit her. She always complains that I rush her. When we were going around the community center for our walk I told her to look at the art. She was being a b!tch cuz I was being too slow looking at the stuff. Omg. Shoot her.

I have almost a hundred pages of reading...in one week.
I've cut my fingers twice today, so my hand looks like someone is trying to mummify me.
people decided that they wanted to come to starbucks with a negative cold chill and about an hour before we closed...don't they know there supposed to be inside when its cold out?

^^ I hear ya... not looking forward to the pre-storm crowd today at the bank and grocery store. Everyone's going to be frantically getting money and then buying milk and bread (why milk and bread??). Just as well... there'll be less of a crowd around the fruit and soymilk.

No really, what do people do during a storm that necessitates mass quantities of milk and bread? Everyone gets a craving for bread pudding?

^^I usually go for the Pepsi and cheese before a storm, but that's just me.

Got back some reports with too many corrections and comments about their tardyness. Yeah, my reports are late. So what? Whatcha gonna do? Huh huh?!

I just recently moved, and there is a Pearl Art Store two blocks away, which was great, until I stopped by there yesterday to pick up some supplies. There was a 50% OFF Everything sign, which I found out was because this location is going under. Now I have to drive 40 minutes away or pay double for most material.

^^ This is the online version of the little mom-and-pop art supply store down the street from the gallery where I work. Maybe their pricing is comparable? I usually find it to be much better than other art supply stores, and their variety is awesome.

I was really stupid for signing up for 3 junior level classes, plus english and 2 geneds...dumb, dumb dumb! I'm just a freshman, I should be taking it easy...but nooo, I had to go and take lots of classes...i'm such an idiot!

I know I should study but I don't wanna. I'm screwing myself over for the entire week.

Grumble grumble... I still don't wanna study and I wanna eat. Which is sad considering I had McDonald's 4 hours ago.

Why didn't anyone tell me regrouting the tiles in the shower was going to be such hard work?! I thought the entire project would take me a few hours...man, was I wrong. I have to continue tomorrow when I get home from work.

Why am I so shy????? Sometimes it just kills me, I can barely gain the balls to talk to the guy I like...it keeps me from getting to really know my coworkers...heck I sat there and read during the breaks between me bowling, mostly cause I got bored just sitting there...sigh....
