^been there. Got the T-shirt... literally... twice. Neither one fits right. First for a band one guy liked, second for another guy's Video Game for Charity. I now wear those when jogging and no other time. I'm my own woman, dammit!

This is awful -- she's beautiful! But that's beside the point. I agree with what's already been said here. The situation is sad and infuriating. And besides, if he doesn't like her the way she is, there'll never be a way to please him. She might as well find the one who likes her. He doesn't; he sure as hell doesn't love her.

It makes me so sad. She's such a cutie, and no doubt has a good heart. I want to hug her -- and bring her stateside, where she might have more options anyway (basing that on the last sentence or 2 of the article).

That poor girl has more issues than I care to list at this moment. Someone needs to teach her the value of self worth.

Last time I happened to see Jessica, which was rather recently, she was a burnette not a blonde. Her ex must have been infatuated with the "blonde Jessica".

Thing is, what if after going through the "Alba make over" and she were to get him back, a different celeb captures his eye's fancy?

Ya know, I never thought Jesica Alba's face was all that good looking. Her face is to pouty and child-like. But that's just my opinion.

And she hasn't been in a good movie since...like....EVER!

This is quite sad. The girl was so adorable beforehand. And I agree that the place that's performing the surgery is just preying on her to showcase their skills. What this girl really needs is a confidence boost!

I have to wonder what her ex-boyfriend thinks of all this. I'm willing to guess that he didn't think his comments and suggestions to her would make her go that far.

I've been on the other side of that fence before. In the last relationship I was in, I was always telling my girlfriend how it would be cute if she cut her hair short and dyed it black. The thing is, I didn't realize that I was doing something wrong, and that my comments were essentially me asking her to change herself, until it was too late. What may be a harmless side comment for you, may be a harsh critique to them. I know better now, but sometimes people don't see the full extent to which their words effect people. Especially if the people in question don't speak up.

This is so sad, but it's amazing what people with low self-esteem will do and changing their looks is just a small part of it.

I feel for her because I seriously doubt the boy is going to stay with her no matter what she does.
